An accomplished and highly skilled Electrical Engineer with a UPDA certification and over 6 years of experience in the construction and maintenance field in Qatar. Proven expertise in performance monitoring, MEP construction, and maintenance, with a strong knowledge of QCS and Kahramaa standards. Completed significant projects, including 6 Woqood petrol station projects, QAF Project, warehouses and the MWANI commercial building projects.
Responsibilities
• Coordinating and supervising the electrical & mechanical staff and contractors in performing construction, maintenance, inspection and repairs of all the MEP related systems
• Ensure compliance with Kahramaa regulations and QCS international standards and practices.
• Conformance of technical information corresponding with specifications and shop drawing checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
• Planning, organizing and providing system engineering support and supervision for the operation, maintenance, modification, trouble -shooting and repair of the 415/230V power network, low voltage equipment, backup power systems, substation equipment, Plumping system and Drainage system.
• Ensuring all materials used and work perform asper specification.
• Ensuring all electrical installation like LV Panel, SMDB, DB, all light fittings, sockets, earthling & lightning protection system, CCTV System, PA system, access control system, Tele/data system and fire alarm system asper approved shop drawings.
• Ensuring all Mechanical installation like Water supply system, Surface drainage system, Sanitary drainage system, Petrol interceptor system, firefighting System, airline system, and HVAC system asper using approved shop drawing.
• Prepare WIR, MIR and RFI for all MEP related Services and attend the client inspection.
• Tender proposal such as quantity take off, Site visit for tendering, Estimation, Pricing and commercial proposal for new project.
• Liaising with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, and the general workforce involved in the project.
• Communicating with client and their representatives including attending regular meeting to keep them informed of progress.
• Work follow up asper approved progress.
• Day to day management of site including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors.
• Tender proposal such as quantity take off, Site visit for tendering, Estimation, Pricing and commercial proposal for new project.
• Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
• Make the T&C for all MEP services and prepare test report to take approval from client.
• Performing quality assurance audits for all 415/230 V power network, low voltage equipment, backup power systems, substation equipment and associated systems, in
order to ensure proper maintenance is performed and implement any improvements that might be found needed.
• Daily progress report monitoring.
• Day to day management of site including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors.
• Ensuring all materials used and work perform asper specification.
• Ensure all MEP related materials and accessories are available and approved by inspection department prior to installation.
• Prepare as-built drawing (electrical, mechanical & plumbing)
• Prepare a report regarding pending work in the site.
• Resolve the issue related to electrical, mechanical & plumbing system
• Prepare the invoices asper project progress.
• Active involvement in weekly meetings with the project management and QC supervisors
and manager to resolve site related issues.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and ensure site clearance is available to start the MEP activities.
a) Coordinating and supervising the electrical & mechanical staff
as well as contractors, for the construction, maintenance,
inspection, and repair of all MEP-related systems.
b) Ensuring the proper installation of all electrical components,
including LV Panels, SMDBs, distribution boards (DBs),
lighting fixtures, sockets, earthing, lightning protection
systems, CCTV systems, PA systems, access control systems,
tele/data systems, and fire alarm systems, in accordance with
approved shop drawings and project specifications.
c) Coordinate with other disciplines and ensure site clearance is
available to start the MEP activities.
d) Communicating with client and their representatives including
attending regular meeting to keep them informed of progress
e) Ensuring all materials used and work performed align with
project specifications and approved shop drawings.
f) Responsible for preparing WIR (Work Inspection Request),
MIR (Material Inspection Request), and RFI (Request for
Information) for all MEP-related services and attend client
inspections to obtain approval.
g) Communicating with client and their representatives including
attending regular meeting to keep them informed of progress.
h) Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other
problems that may arise.
i) preparing as-built drawings for the electrical, mechanical, and
plumbing systems.
j) Liaising with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors,
planners, quantity surveyors, and the general workforce
involved in the project.
k) Work follow up asper approved progress.
l) Prepare the invoices based on the project's progress.
