The PLANT is a highly integrated Refinery, Petrochemical and Aromatics scheme - ranked as 13 Nelson Index - processing 300, 000 BPSD of medium-grade crude blends (Case A: 31º API, Case B: 28º API) and targeting the production of Euro 5 Gasoline, Jet A1, Euro 5 Diesel, MTBE, Sulphur, Paraxylene and Petrochemical commodities, such as, Styrene, MEG, LLDPE, HDPE and PP.
Take the role of a Project Management Team (PMT) of the Electrical team for the Pertamina Rosneft Project Refinery, Petrochemical, & Electrical Power Plant at Tuban-Java, Indonesia. Responsible for Reviewing and approving electrical engineering design, including specification, datasheet, calculation study, layout, costing, etc. The project is to build an Integrated Refinery, Petrochemical and Aromatics plant also utilities will be generated within the complex consists Power plant, marine jetty, regasification, desalination, infrastructure and substation with voltage levels 150kV, 33kV, 11kV and 690V
Responsibilities:
• Provide electrical engineering expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and analyze electrical engineering deliverables from Contractors during FEED, bidding, and EPC phases.
• Identify and address potential electrical design issues to ensure project specifications, codes, and standards compliance.
• Support the development and execution of electrical engineering work plans and schedules.
• Assist the PMT in developing and managing the project execution plan for the electrical engineering scope.
• Monitor and track the progress of electrical engineering activities against the project schedule and budget.
• Identify and manage risks associated with the scope of electrical engineering.
• Participate in the preparation and evaluation of bids during the bidding phase.
• Support contract negotiations with the selected Contractor for the electrical engineering scope.
• Work collaboratively with other engineering disciplines within the PMT to ensure project integration.
• Prepare clear and concise technical reports and presentations on electrical engineering aspects of the project.
• Effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Maintain clear and accurate project documentation related to the electrical engineering scope.
• Ensure adherence to best practices, standard specifications, and engineering codes within specified timelines for electrical system design.
• Provide technical guidance to the Project Manager and Engineering Manager on deviations from engineering codes, proposing design mitigation solutions.
• Offer recommendations and direction to facilitate project progress and ensure fitness for purpose.
• Investigate and resolve technical queries raised by contractors, providing input on equipment design development.

• Reviewed, checked, and approved Electrical Engineering Design deliverables such as single line diagrams, schematics, layouts, specifications, studies, reports, and datasheets performed by the Contractor

Responsibilities:
• Ensured work is carried out in accordance with relevant Codes, Standards, and Procedures.
• Participated in project control and design processes as part of a multi-disciplinary team and/or as Project engineer for single-discipline projects; including conceptual design, preliminary plans/schematics, estimating, detailed design calculations, specification writing, monitoring drafting, project cost control and quality assurance.
• Prepared, checked, and approved Electrical Engineering and Design deliverables such as single line diagrams, schematics, layouts, specifications, studies, reports, and datasheets.
• Performed calculations and system studies (e.g. Load Flow, Short Circuit, Motor Starting, Harmonic, Transient Stability, Load list, Equipment sizing and Cable sizing).
• Developed Electrical database management system using Smartplant Electrical (SPEL) and Smartplan Material (Spmat / Marian)
• Collaborated and liaised closely with Interdicipline, Vendor and Client in meeting and workshop.

Assisting Electrical Lead Engineer (HOD) in preparing and maintaining electrical deliverable list (MDR) and in reviewing electrical engineering products such as electrical calculations, reports, specifications, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), Schematic Layout Drawings, Schedules, MTOs to meet project requirements and schedule.

● Preparation of Data Sheet & Specification (Preparation of Specification for MV/LV Switchgear, Electrical Control System, Data Sheet for MV/LV Switchgear, AC/DC UPS, Nav Aid System, Motors, Busduct)
● Electrical Procurement Assistance (Preparation of RFQ, TBE, IFP) for MV/LV Switchgear, Electrical Control System (ECS) and Power Monitoring and Load Shedding system (PMLS), Busduct, AC/DC UPS, Power/Distribution transformer, subsea cable, MV/LV cable
● Conducting power system analysis using the electrical engineering tool ETAP 12.6
● Working closely with Lead Electrical Engineer in reviewing the document from other disciplines and in responding comments from client to align with project requirements
● Supervising designer/drafter in producing drawings, schedules, and MTOs to meet with project specification and requirements
● Follow-ups & Client Coordination, Vendor Coordination, Coordination with other departments for Design inputs and in time delivery of documents.
● Participate in HAZOP, HAZID and SAFOP meeting review and responsibility to prepare closeout report include with action sheet.

Joined a multinational company for the marine project at BP Tangguh LNG Expansion Project to focus on completing Electrical and instrument deliverable projects including a mechanical package. Coordinating with the field team to resolve field problems such as closing the existing NCR because of finding in the site, making a technical note, proposed for RFC and FDC while submitted all engineering deliverable to the client. Responsible for all electrical and instrument system on the project.

• Manage all aspects of relevant consultancy assignments undertaken for clients including allocation, estimating, tendering, planning, execution and close out.
• Responded to design queries during the construction phase and attend site meetings.
• Supported and liaisoned with Client and Contractor on workshare tasks and development of workshare activities.

One of the top local contractors who began exploring the world of EPC, build an engineering division team and entrusting the electrical engineer position held by me.
