Fatima group has three giant fertilizer plants in Pakistan. Pakarab Fertilizers, Fatima Fertilizer Company Limited and FatimaFert (Formally DH fertilizers). It is one of the biggest groups in Pakistan manufacturing different fertilizers under the group name.

From Jan-2012 till March-2014, I worked as a Procurement Officer in Pakarab Fertilizer (Multan) & currently I am stationed in Sadiqabad, working as a Team Leader supply chain & strategic sourcing for fertilizer sector. Actively stay abreast of latest trends, technology and innovation within contracts/procurement processes and always looking to tap opportunities for service improvement and/or cost reduction.

Lead and manage following Operational tasks:

Procurement:
• Strategic Sourcing (Group level).
• Planning.
• Contracts Negotiations.
• Process improvements/Optimization.
• Supplier Management & Development
• Periodic supplier audits to ensure quality of supplies.
• Cost monitoring/controlling through effective market analysis and investigation
• KPI Monitoring & reporting
• Ensuring strict compliance to SOPs and Internal Controls
• Execution of import cases
• Managing foreign remittances (T/T & L/C) and their associated issues.
• Ensuring document controlling/maintenance of procurement records as per best available practices

Contracts Management
• Managing POL contracts.
• Managing Vendor Service Management (VSM) contracts for different plant services during turnarounds.
• Obtaining NOC for all Precursor chemicals from Anti-Narcotics Force (ministry of interior- Pakistan)
• Contracts of Raw Material.
• Resolve compliance and payment disputes


Inventory Management:
• Taking part to develop company’s inventory management strategy with the aim of controlling costs within budgetary limits, optimizing inventory and maximizing available working capital.

Logistics Management:
• Manage transportation system on domestic and international freight that ensures business needs are met (highest quality at most competitive rates).
• Selection of logistics partners like Freight Forwarders, custom clearing agents, shipping lines, and local transporters and monitoring their performance.
• Ensure efficiency in custom clearance process (avail maximum SROs benefit at minimum or no demurrage cost) and compliance with laws and regulations regarding imports and exports.

Reporting / Communication / Networking:
• Monthly reporting to top management highlighting department performance.
• Monthly communication meeting with internal stake holders (Plant operations, Warehouse, Treasury and Accounts)
• Networking with external stake holders (services vendors, material suppliers, transporters, govt. officials)
• Networking with other fertilizer plants (eg. Engro, Fauji Fertilizers etc) for bench marking & process improvements

• Technical procurement and contracts for turnkey projects to setup complete power house.
• Involve in placement of purchase orders to foreign suppliers for various material.
• Issuing of ITTs and RFQs to different suppliers.
• Part of a cross-functional team.
• Carrying commercial evaluation of bids
• Co-ordinate with end user for technical evaluation
• Dealing with the contractors and Evaluate vendors before approving it.
• Make sure on time delivery

Quality Assurance Officer في Yamaha

Inspected work at vehicle assembly line once in a week and oversaw ordering and receiving of merchandise.

Played major role in Quality Assurance of DYL's Machining Plant (HUB), Foundry Plant (HUB) and Sheet Plant (HUB).
