Worked here as Senior Officer Instruments (equivalent to Senior Instrument Technician):
1. Skilled to perform daily Preventive & Corrective maintenance (PM/CM) jobs at refinery plants including crude distillation Units-CDU/VDU, ISOME Complex (ISM), HYU, DHDU, SWU, AMU, SRU and all utilities.
2. Skilled to perform all jobs of breakdown/shutdown nature and troubleshooting of faults/tripping efficiently in a pressure situation.
3. Plan & ensure in-hand availability of required resources for the execution of the assigned job, e.g. drawings, tools, spares, valid work permits, portable gas detectors and PPEs.

4. Ensure compliance with the company's HSE policy and SOPs while executing any assigned job in hazardous areas and normal areas.
5. Planning of critical nature jobs for annual plant shutdown, turnaround and execution in a team and individually
6. Skilled in instrument calibration and installation, preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance of analyzer instruments (GC, Continuous Hydrogen, Density, O2/Comb, Moisture, PH & Conductivity)
7. Perform instrument calibration, configuration, maintenance/parts replacement in the workshop and installation.
8. Carry out fault Finding and troubleshooting in-field process instrumentation package control equipment, control loops checking and in MCC/DCS control panels
9. Perform Honeywell DCS/ESD, Siemens S7 300, 400H PLC controlled systems, hardware and software diagnostics, replacement of I/O cards, power supplies/battery, CPUs resetting, etc.
10. Inventory management for spares, preparation and closing of work orders & service requests in MAXIMO
11. Maintain daily shift log book/work history, outlining the cause of fault, nature of the work and the materials, labor and time taken to complete the task & entry of all maintenance record/manhours in CMMS (MAXIMO Live v7.1)

Projects Accomplishment:
Title: ARU Up-Gradation Project-2013 (EPCC: Hyundai Engineering, Korea)
Scope:
Erection & commissioning of Isomerization Complex(ISM), Diesel Hydrogenation De-sulfurization Unit(DHDU), Hydrogen Unit(HYU), Amine Unit(AMU), Sour Water Unit(SWU), Sulfur Recovery Unit(SRU), Naphtha Hydro Treated(NHT), Flare System, Fire Alarm System (FAS), Deluge System, Gas Detection System(GDS), Compressed Air System(CAS), Steam Generation System(SGS), Power Plant up-gradation(18MW), Waste Heat Recovery Steam Boiler(WHRSG), Water Treatment Plant, Cooling Towers(CWS), Building HVAC System and CCTV System.
My Role:
1. Reviewed Projects documentation revisions; P&IDs, Cable Tray Layout, Hookup. Loop drawing, C&E and Wiring Drawings
2. Performed inspection of contractors' work as per company’s quality standard/checklists and work progress daily and to make sure no material loss or equipment damage by the contractor.
3. Performed SAT of ICS control panels, verified BOM, drawings, test and calibration certificates.
4. Performed DCS systems, ESD, FAS and GDS systems control loops checking/testing, functional/logic testing, events/alarms and shutdown signals testing as per Cause & Effect diagram (C&E Matrix) of related process plants
5. Fully involved with foreign vendors for pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup and all training activities.
Working in Instrument Polymer and Utility department and responsible for:
1. Performed daily preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance (PM/CM) and breakdown maintenance jobs, related to Pressure / Flow / Level/temperature transmitters (HART/Foundation Fieldbus), gauges and switches, in compliance with the company’s SOPs
2. Performed preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance (PM/CM), installation and calibration of analyzer instruments, e.g. PH, Conductivity, O2, N2, Flue Gas Analyzers, etc.
3. Performed complete maintenance of control valves (PM/CM), parts replacement, testing, calibration of PSVs, PCVs
4. Used HART Communicator 275, 475, source simulator, dead weight tester and other test tools for troubleshooting, configuration and testing of conventional, HART and Foundation Fieldbus instruments and control loops
5. Performed replacement of Delta V DCS systems, SIEMENS PLC systems' I/O cards, Safety Barriers, Signal Converters and other control items
6. Wrote down daily shift log book and maintained daily maintenance record in CMMS-Oracle EAM
7. Followed the company’s HSE policies and SOP in all maintenance activities.

Title: Lurgi_Walcot-III EPCC: Lurgi Germany (Part of Air Liquide Group)
Scope of Project:
Erection and Commissioning of Polymer Plant (600 ton/day), Pure Terephthalic Acid Plant (PTA), Heat Transfer Medium Furnaces (HTM), Water Treatment Plant, Steam Generation, N2-Nitrogen Generation Plants & Air Compressors
My Role:
1. Supervised subcontractor's work regarding the installation of cable trays, cables, conduits, and JBs as per project design documentation and drawings
2. Supervised the installation of all instruments/air tubing as per P&ID, instrument hook and layout drawings
3. Performed inspection and verification of control loop wiring in the field, DCS systems, transducer panels and PLC systems
4. Performed loop testing of DCS & PLC signals as per instrument loop circuit diagrams, simulation of alarm and trip signals of transmitters/switches for logic testing as per C&E diagram
5. Performed calibration of control valves, flow meters, level and pressure transmitters, and switches in the workshop
6. Was in the team, involved with vendors in pre-commissioning and commissioning activities till the plant’s start-up
Matriculation is 10th-grade education equivalent to O Level.
