o My primary role of the job includes Lead end-to-end supply chain operations, including demand forecasting, production planning, strategic procurement, warehouse management, and logistics coordination. Manage the Shalimar 06Bn portfolio, encompassing 25+ SKUs, with a focus on integrated supply and demand planning for raw materials and finished goods, including managing import operations for the group.
o Supervise and mentor a team of six professionals responsible for demand planning, supply planning, strategic sourcing (raw materials, packaging, imports, technical, and general procurement), new product development, inventory management, and logistics execution across Pakistan.
o Implement advanced materials requirement planning (MRP) and demand forecasting techniques to ensure optimal inventory levels, avoiding both excess stock and stock outs, based on a six-month rolling forecast and a one-month fixed order cycle.
o Execute strategic sourcing and procurement for Hilal and Shalimar Foods, with close monitoring of market trends, regulatory changes, and agricultural cycles for commodities to ensure cost-effective procurement and risk mitigation.
o Manage the end-to-end import process for the Hilal Group, including financial transactions, customs clearance, and freight forwarding, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
o Oversee the procurement and strategic sourcing of raw and packaging materials for all SKUs, including the development of new products and packaging solutions. Identify and negotiate with alternate suppliers to achieve cost savings and mitigate supply risks, leveraging hedging and anticipation strategies and inventory planning.
o Regularly executing and conducting (sales & operations planning) S&OP, (Distribution requirement plan) DRP, (Demand review meeting) DRM, (sales review meeting) SRM and (material review meeting) MRM meetings for balancing the demand & supply gap.
o Management & regular monitoring with analysis of inventories to avoid dead stocks, obsolescence nationwide and ensuring synchronization across all supply chain echelons.
o Ensure the maintenance of Minimum Stock Levels (MSL) for all active SKUs across distribution centers, ensuring a minimum of 30 days of inventory through efficient logistics and full container load (FCL) shipments to eight distribution centers across Pakistan.
