Working as an Electrical Engineer handling 15 different high rise
projects at a time.
• Review and approval of shop drawings, As built drawings, Materials
submittals, Materials inspections, method statements for installation,
T & C, Builder works, PQ, O & M etc.
• Conduct regular site visits and supervise, certify the installation of all
type of electrical services ( light, power, ELV, Fire alarm system, Façade
lighting etc ) ensuring compliance with the project documents.
• Responsible for coordination with other MEP services including sample
approval from architectural / ID departments.
• Attending FAT/SAT for LV panels, SMDBS, Genset etc
• Involve in the design verification stage, up to Testing &
Commissioning for the complete electrical and ELV system.
• Review and Evaluation of IPA ( Interim Payment ) application
• Witness electrical tests and inspections in accordance with Contract
Requirements
• Lead progress review meeting minutes and co-ordination meetings
minutes to gain understanding on how to resolve any site issues such
as discrepancies in project design and shop drawings.
• Dealing with all local authorities for all type of NOC’s / authority
inspections. ( DEWA, DCD, Etisalat / DU and SIRA ).
• Arranging for all MEP requirements and certificates needed for
getting the BCC application for DCD, Etisalat/DU, SIRA, etc.
• Leads in the coordination and monitoring of snagging.
• Responsible for managing a team of 05 engineers and 15 inspectors at a
time for multiple projects
• Allocation of Job to Site Engineers/Inspector for execution & planning of
particular activities.
• Responsible for Handover documents to FM/DLP team after executing
full T and C.
• Arranging training for all the services to FM/DLP team along with TOC
documents
Job Title: Electrical Design and Site Supervision Engineer
Role:
• Extensive knowledge of Design of High rise building (Power, Lighting, Low
Current System, Lightning Protection, Earthing system etc etc.)
• Manage all design calculations like voltage drop, diversity and preparing the
load schedules as per standard local and international regulations
• Responsible for projects design, execution and supervision
• Preparing concept design report for the project.
• Planning and analyzing all possible methodologies for the best design
• Attend technical meetings with local authorities and client for resolving
the project / design issues.
• Managing, monitoring and interpreting the contract design documents
supplied by client.
• Co-ordinate with disciplines like Mechanical, Structural and Architectural
at various stages of design for successful and timely design completion
• Interpreting architecture drawings, sections and elevations to juniors prior
to start of work.
• Providing initial load calculation prior to initiate the overall design of the
project to ensure that the allocated load for the building is enough to
accomodate all requirements
• Sound Knowledge about Load Calculation.
• Experience in local authority procedures related to all type of project.
• Liaising with local authorities for all type of NOC’s /Approval
• Site management as an Electrical Engineer.
• Review and approval of electrical workshop drawings.
• Review and approval of electrical material submittals.
• Conducted inspection for Electrical installations in compliance to contract
documents and contractor submitted plans.

Role:
• Hand on experience at LT Panels, Testing, Troubleshooting of LT panels,
cable termination arrangement, Distributions Board, Cable Trays, Cable
installation, lighting and power circuits etc.
• Load Schedule calculations, method statements, FAT procedures and
other technical documents submission work for consultant/client
approval in line with contract specifications and technical
requirements/comments.
• Installation and Testing Commissioning of SMDB’S, DB’S, MCC’S etc.
• Requisition of approvals for site establishment and construction area
from local authorities
• Allocation of Job to Sub-contractors Site Engineers and respective
supervisor for execution & planning of particular activities
• Prepared IR’s for Complete MEP department specially electrical and
mechanical
