Job description
• Participate in the structural design of at grade & underground stations.
• Participate in the structural design of cut& cover section.
• Participate in the structural design of at grade stations.
• Providing full technical support for all design teams related to structural issues.
• Preparing the design criteria and Engineering report for civil department
• Mange Design coordination meeting for structural design.
• Coordination with NAT (National Authority For Tunnels) regarding to the structural and civil design .
• Reply to NAT structural design comments on calculation and drawings
• Reviewing the structural design calculation & drawings, for the underground stations including the at grade stations.
• Reviewing the structural design& drawings for the cut& cover section.
• Manage and leading the structural design comments coordination resolution meeting with sub consultant.
• One of the technical team which provide the construction sequence of civil works and construction opening.

• Participate in the structural design review of underground structures for Red and Green Lines including the underground stations, cut-and-cover tunnels and annex structures and MPS (Main Power Station).
• Providing full technical support for site and solving obstructions arises during construction.
• Review the operation and maintenance manual for civil works including stations and viaduct.
• Do site inspection for some civil works.
• Reviewing the NOC for any works or construction adjacent to DUBAI METRO PEOJECT.
• Manage and leading the design coordination resolution meeting.
• Manage the technical team which review the shop drawings and as-built drawings.
• Design coordination for all civil works.
• Participate in the structural analysis and design of Palm Deira, Al Ras, Al Ghubaiba Underground Stations for tender, these stations consists of three levels and ground in addition to a twenty RC floor development building above.
• Preparing the monthly progress reports.
• Over ground section stations, footbridges and viaduct technical support (starting from November, 2009 till date).
• Preparing technical reports and participate in the taking over meetings.
• Reviewing the material approval related to civil works.
