Organization of meetings of the Project Review Board to review progress and approval of annual and half yearly work plans.

• Establishment of collaborative arrangements with potential donors, implementing partners and appropriate operational partnership arrangements.
• Compliance with corporate human resources policies and strategies.
• PMU compliance with corporate rules and regulations and elaboration of the PMU procurement strategies including sourcing strategy, supplier selection and evaluation, quality management, customer relationship management and performance measurement.
• Elaboration of the PMU contract strategy including tendering processes and evaluation, managing the contract and contractor, legal implications. Oversight of procurement processes and logistical services in accordance with UNDP rules and regulations.
• Proper management of UNDP assets, facilities and logistical services, including full compliance with IPSAS in the accounting for the procurement, utilization and disposal of assets.

UNDP with other international donors has formulated a project of Electoral Cycle Support to Election Commission of Pakistan for free, fair and transparent electoral process in Pakistan. UNDP is directly implementing the project under supervision of Project Review Board.

Ensure effective and accurate financial resources management and oversight, focusing on achievement of the following results:

• Financial analysis and oversight for Phase 1 resources of US $ 8.4 Million managed by UNDP Electoral Cycle Support to Election commission of Pakistan (ECSP) operations and provision of professional advice to management;
• Proper planning, expenditure tracking of financial resources in accordance with UNDP rules and regulations;

Ensure implementation of operational strategies and procedures focusing on achievement of the following results:

• Full compliance of financial activities, financial recording/reporting system with UN/UNDP rules, regulations, policies and strategies; implementation of the effective internal control, proper design and functioning of the financial resources management system for US $ 8.4 Million Phase 1 project;
• Continuous analysis and monitoring of the financial situation, presentation of forecasts for the projecs;

Manage the budget of ECSP project focusing on achievement of the following results:

• Management of all financial resources through planning, guiding, monitoring, and controlling of the resources in accordance with UNDP rules and regulations;
• Oversight of preparation and monitoring of projects’ budgets in Atlas;
• Ensuring that cost-sharing contributions are properly transferred to UNDP on a timely basis;

Ensure facilitation of knowledge building and sharing in UNDP Electoral Cycle Support to Election commission of Pakistan (ECSP)

Etisalat International Pakistan(EIP) took management control of PTCL after privatization by Government of Pakistan in 2005. Etisalat to compete in the competitive telecom sector of Pakistan introduced IT system like ERP and Billing and Customer Care software and recruited professional to implement and operate new systems.

Achievements:
• Meet the deadlines set by higher management for month-end, quarter-end and year-end by ensuring completion of closing activities in SAP (FICO) within 3 days of completion of monthly billing activities.
• Prepare / Develop monthly receivable and collection analysis reports for senior management.
• Ensure the compilation of monthly age analysis of receivables within 3 days of completion of billing and follow regional team for collection of old receivables.
• Managed payables relating to collection charges, revenue sharing agreements, security refunds to customers and process the payment with in agreed timelines.
• Prepare study paper for revenue recognition policies in the light of IFRS and IAS followed by PTCL for different services.
• Lead the process of monthly fund receipt reconciliation by coordination with processor banks for collection made from retail customers of PTCL through different collection channels (i.e banks, post offices, OSS etc).
• Conduct the study of mapping of customer account code in SAP with reconciliation GL and propose re-mapping of customer account code with reconciliation GL according to different services offered by PTCL and nature of customers to have clear picture of receivables.
• Played important role in development of interface between ERP-SAP’s (FI/CO) and billing software built in Hyperion Performance Suite by coordinating with SAP implementation team and Information system teams.
• Analyze and Access the new reports required for new products/ packages launched by PTCL and develop business requirement document for Information System Department.

Finance Coordinator / Finance Officer في Oxfam GB

Oxfam GB is INGO registered in UK working in more than 70 countries. Oxfam GB recruited Finance officer after Earth quake in Pakistan to manage the large scale humanitarian programs. I had also worked as finance coordinator from July 2006 to January 2007 in Earth Quake Response Program of GBP 16 Million of Oxfam GB.

Achievements:
• In initial days of Earth quake response program Oxfam was funding programs from its own reserve funds. After joining handled the challenge of reporting expenses in accounting/management systems according to budgets by donors like UNICEF, DEC, Oxfam Ireland, Oxfam Novib etc.
• Helped program manager in budget preparation.
• Ensured the compliance with Oxfam policies and procedures and tax laws of Pakistan for payments against services and goods.
• Ensured Preparation of bank reconciliation statements on a monthly basis within 3 days of month end.
• Ensured the Clearance of advances to staff and outstanding reconciliation items on monthly basis within 3 days of month end.
• Planned and conducted training programs for finance staff of 6 field offices established in Earthquake hit areas for the efficiency, integrity and transparency of the field offices finance operations.
• Built strong interpersonal and communication skill including negotiation and influencing skills and built good working relations with government departments and banks.
• Satisfied the cross functional queries within timeline agreed in management meetings.
• Coordinated with internal auditors and external auditors of different programs.

Credit Officer في KASB Bank Limited

KASB Leasing limited merged with KASB Bank Limited and worked as separate division to handle the leasing portfolio under Senior Vice President and Advisor of Leasing / Chairman of the Bank.

Achievements:
• Prepared credit proposals for both new and reschedule leases by analyzing financial statement of borrowers for compliance with Bank policies and prudential regulation of State bank of Pakistan.
• Built strong working relationship with credit staff of other financial institutions to participate in the syndicated financial deals.
• Maintained good working relations with marketing department of bank to keep themselves updated on the status of the borrowers particularly with respect to submission of documents required as per approvals of competent authorities.
• Comfortably and confidently coordinated with internal auditors, State Bank auditors and External auditors of Bank during performance of their duties and took corrective and remedial actions in the light of the recommendations submitted by them.
