• Supervise and coordinate all electrical works for high-rise building projects, including power distribution,
lighting, fire alarm, low-current, and ELV systems.
• Review and interpret electrical drawings, technical specifications, and shop drawings to ensure
compliance with project requirements and Saudi regulations.
• Monitor installation activities on-site to ensure electrical systems are executed according to approved
plans, quality standards, and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, mechanical engineers, and subcontractors to resolve technical
and construction-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Electricity Company (SEC), Civil Defense, and local authority codes and
standards during project execution.
• Prepare material submittals, method statements, inspection requests, and technical reports for
consultant and client approval.
• Conduct testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems such as transformers,
generators, switchgear, lighting controls, and fire alarm systems.
• Manage project schedules, manpower, and material usage to achieve timely completion of electrical
works within budget.
• Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices on-site to maintain a safe
working environment.
• Participate in project meetings, progress reviews, and final handover activities, including preparation of
as-built drawings and operation manuals.

• Hydropower systems: Design, commission, and maintain generators, turbines, exciters, and plants inside the dam. Switchgear & substations: Work on 11kV/33kV/132kV switchyards that evacuate power from the to
the grid. Grid integration: Ensure synchronization, protection, and power quality meet utility standards. Governor & excitation control: Tune systems turbine speed Dam automation: Integrate sensors flow, control Relay protection: Design and test protective relays generators, Earthing & lightning protection: Critical Fire detection & suppression: Install and maintain systems in and control Station auxiliary supply: Power HVAC, systems & UPS: banks control access control, comms: Install security networks
• Testing & commissioning: Perform primary/secondary injection tests, functional tests, and load tests
before handover.
• Preventive maintenance: Schedule and execute maintenance on generators, transformers, motors, and
panels.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose electrical faults under high pressure, often in wet/humid environments.
• Dam health monitoring: Electrical engineers integrate sensors for piezometers, inclinometers, and strain
gauges into data acquisition systems.
• Water level & flow measurement: Radar, ultrasonic, and pressure transmitters for reservoir management.
• Ensure designs meet IEEE and local electricity company standards.
• Prepare SLDs, cable schedules, loop diagrams, and test reports for regulatory approval.
