Interpreting, recording, and maintaining environmental data relevant to the work to ensure environmental compliance.
Leading construction environmental site inspections and systems audits to evaluate and supervise environmental compliance.
Ensure close out of environmental issues by contractor identified during weekly
inspection.
Preparing weekly Environmental Inspection Reports.
Validating Environmental metrics and action plans on the Enablon system.
Ensure contractor holds valid environmental permits.
Ensure contractors’ compliance with the environmental requirements as stated in
the environmental permit conditions and CESMP requirements.
Review of appointed contractor Environmental Plans i.e., Environmental and
Social Management Plans, Construction Environmental and Social Management
Plans, Method of Statements, Waste Management Plans, Dust Management Plans,
Environmental Monitoring Programs, and other client specific environmental plans.
Ensuring environmental and sustainability requirements are effectively
implemented during all development of the project construction phases i.e.,
earthworks, infrastructure, design, and build.
Undertaking incident investigations, identifying root causes, and reviewing
corrective actions.
Establishes criteria, evaluates compliance, and develops corrective measures to
improve environmental performance in all areas of the work scope.
Effectively communicate in a professional manner with other project staff
including subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and the community to enhance
working relationships and outcomes.
Liaising with Managers/Supervisors on the day-to-day management of environmental risks and issues.
Ensure environmental compliance by conducting regular site inspections on daily basis.
Ensure the implementation of the organization environmental policy.
Prepare Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP) for the projects.
Ensured the effective implementation of the Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP).
Supervise & inspect all site Environmental aspects.
Monitoring air emissions by Gas and dust Particles detector and Noise Class 1 Noise meter on daily basis.
Conducting environmental training and inductions.
Ensuring environmental awareness training is undertaken by relevant Site personnel.
Preparing daily environmental reports and submitting them to the Client on a weekly and monthly basis.
Updating weekly environmental reports in ANABALON.
Ensuring environmental records relevant to the works are generated and maintained.
Leading environmental incident investigations and ensuring corrective actions are closed out.
Leading, coordinating, and facilitate the Integrated Development Process and associated submittal deliveries.
