1. Equipment maintenance: Responsible for the overall maintenance and repair of the printing and packaging equipment. This includes troubleshooting and resolving mechanical, electrical, and other technical issues to ensure smooth operations.
2. Preventive maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to minimize breakdowns and maximize equipment uptime. This involves conducting regular inspections, lubrication, and replacement of worn-out parts to avoid unexpected failures.
3. Spare parts management: To maintain an inventory of essential spare parts to facilitate quick repairs and minimize downtime. They should coordinate with suppliers, order the required parts, and ensure their availability when needed.
4. Documentation and reporting :To maintain accurate documentation of maintenance schedules, repairs, and replacements. They should also prepare reports on equipment performance, maintenance costs, and downtime for management review.
5. Training and support: Responsible for providing training and technical support to operators and other employees.
6. Continuous improvement: To evaluate the performance of the printing and packaging equipment and identify opportunities for improvement.
7. Cost control: To identify cost-saving opportunities, conduct regular cost analyses, and suggest measures to optimize maintenance activities without compromising equipment performance or quality standards.
