Worked in Engineering Services department of BP as Project Engineer deputed at BPP head office.
Major responsibilities:
* Coordination in preparation of Conceptual design, preliminary engineering and front end loading
for Facility upgrade projects and pipelines
* Single Point of Accountability (SPA) for Projects stages from “Pre-Appraise” to “Operate” and life
cycles
* Preparation of decision support package (DSP) for “Appraise” and “Select stages”
* Responsible for management of change (MOC) Process
* Preparation of project budgets (approval for expenditures) and financial memos
* Management of tender process, pre-qualification and contracting strategies
* Preparation of tender evaluation reports & recommendations for final approval

Major Projects at BP:
* EPC project for new Amine & Dehydration Plants - Naimat West Field (Multiple Trains)
* EPC for Refurbishment & Relocation of Amine (1200 GPM) & De-hydration (90 MMSCFD)
plants from Badin Field to Naimat Field
* Pipeline Network for Oil and Gas transportation - Naimat, Kausar and Rahim North Fields:
Managed various Flowlines & Cross Country Pipeline projects. Cumulative length ~250 Kms ranging
from 4” - 24” dia lines including well hook-up and well head setup, remote setups including
separation and manifold stations. Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) technology applied for all
major roads & water canal/course crossings.
* Well head and Sales Gas Compression Stations - Buzdar, Lodano, Qassim Deep and Rahim
Gas Fields: Managed multiple Compression Station projects (EPC & Relocation), including wellhead
compression, booster & sales gas compression in 2011-2012. Successfully completed all assigned
projects.

OPL is Oil and Gas Exploration and Production Company which began exploration in Pakistan in 1979 as a
successor of Occidental Petroleum.OPL has been engaged in the exploration and production of crude oil,
natural gas, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). The company is also engaged in the extraction of sulfur from
its fields. Worked in Facilities Engineering & Construction department of OPL, as a Construction Engineeron
following projects:
* Mechanical Construction, Installation and Commissioning of Projects:
a. EPC for Gas Sweetening & Dehydration Plants (2 x 200 MMSCFD Trains) at Kausar and
Naimat Facilities
b. Produce Water Injection/Disposal Facilities across MKK Concession
c. New booster and sales gas compressor stations within the MKK Concession
d. LPG Plant at Naimat Facility
* Construction, installation and commissioning of Well head compressors
* Construction/Laying of Pipelines/ Flow lines
Major responsibilities:
* Safe execution of construction activities as per technical specifications and to achieve the target
completion within the stipulated time frame, budget and no LTI
* Approval of Construction requests originated from Projects and Operations
* Coordinate with Operations, Projects, Facility engineering and other project originators to evolve
means for early resolution of pertinent issues/matters related to design, construction & material
* Supervised constructability review sessions and subsequent Engineering solutions
* RFQ packages preparation, appraise and Project award
* Preparation of construction scope for various projects
* Supervision and Quality assurance of construction activities
* Analyze the actual performance against the plan and make adjustments consistent with plan
* Preparation of BoQs and quantities verification
* Development and assurance of construction procedures/formats implementation as per international
codes and standards
* Coordination from relevant govt. departments for pipeline crossings
* Monitoring of construction progress and ensure that site activities & equipment items (and associated
components) are installed according to approved milestones
* To ensure that all projects activities are being executed as per applicable Safety Regulations &
Standards
* Responsible for mentoring, guiding, and measuring performance of team members
