Duties and Responsibilities:
My responsibilities as a Production Engineer (Plant Operational Activities) reporting to Manager Operation International Diol Company (SIPCHEM Affiliates) include
• To monitor and control plant operation activities for smooth plant operation to attain Production targets
• Manage Facility Change Requests as per plant requirements to get modification in process and equipments for improvement in production, safety and quality of products
• Conduct PHA for the new or existing facilities
• Coordination with Operation Planning and Improvement Department
• Coordination with EUREKA Team for the study and implementation of new ideas of Improvement
• Coordination with Plant Projects Management Team for Capital Investment Projects Cost estimation and approval
• Participate in plant startup, and turnaround assistance, including scheduling, equipment process inspections; catalyst loading, start-up, and plant performances test runs
• Interpret, summarize, and present results of data analysis in monitoring operating unit performance, troubleshooting equipment operation, evaluating catalyst performance, and recommending operating guidelines and process improvements.

• Interpret, summarize, and present results of data analysis in monitoring operating unit performance, troubleshooting equipment operation, evaluating catalyst performance, and recommending operating guidelines and process improvements.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Participated in the revamp of the Phthalic anhydride plant which involved a lot of critical modifications on a big scale. This great activity included revision of all PFD'S, PID'S, isometrics & major changes in equipments along with control valves/rotary equipment parts replacement.
• Involved in the activities of new plant for Phthalic anhydride production. It involved construction, erection and pre commissioning, commissioning & master start up of the plant.
• Worked in the expansion of maleic anhydride plant which involved major modification in the equipments & complete change of distillation columns with their internals. The Phthalic anhydride plant no. 1 comprises with the DISTRIBUTED CONTROL SYSTEM (micro XL YOKOGAWA Japan) . Recently updated for the new plant with a latest control system CENTUM 3000. So I have been excelled for both of these control systems to monitor/control all plants operations through graphics pages, trend groups, control groups, history trends, control loops & tuning of controllers etc
• Coordinated and provided technical assistance to a team from Aquafil Engg., GmbH, Berlin, Germany in the erection, commissioning & start up of the plant
• Determined the 15 - 20% substitution of the recyclable waste ethylene glycol heightens reactor efficiency without sacrificing product color quality
• Conducted safeguarding and operability reviews, and ensured safety regulations
• Optimized process conditions and improved tensile properties of fiber
• Process control through DCS (Honeywell) and PLC (Allen Bradley) systems
• Developed operating procedures and process parameters to get maximum production and quality
