I am Currently working as Chemical Engineer in Rupali Group. The Plant has a nameplate production capacity 100 ton/day Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) Chips. The plant comprises of 4 reactors, Vapour- Liquid state Polymerization technology operated by Yokogawa DCS system. Controlling 2 Etherification reactors, 2 Condensation Polymerization reactors, Distillation recovery columns and high temperature medium (HTM) heater units. My key responsibilities are;
Assist the shift engineer to ensure production against plan, timely maintenance, daily shift report and daily production report.
Co-ordinate, and supervise process operator's teams to start up, make market have polyester chips through operations and practically issuing permits and supervising daily maintenance activities, in order to practically gain knowledge about safe working procedures and policies being used at the work site.
Responsible for handling of operating DCS and engineering HIS, smooth and continues floor operations regarding MR, AV1 & AV2 IV and others quality parameters in line with stands to minimize waste and executing activities cost effectively in order to stay within budget.
Performance evaluation of critical equipment including reactors, towers, heat exchangers dryers and vacuum groups.
Well equipped in start up and shutdown activities of plant and benchmarking different operation condition.
Calculating production and waste indices and preparing basis for comparison with other shift group.
Identify and ensure that variation within the scope of work/operation is brought to the attention of the project manager/lead engineer.

Studied and practically observed HSE protocols, Fire & Gas system, DCS system, Power generation and distribution system in addition to the main processes.
Studied and practically observed (Co2) the by-product of ammonia plant to more purified and used in beverage.
Submitted an internship report, with a primary and detailed focus on the overview of the operations and processes involved in
the Gas liquefacation” being implemented at PFL.
