My main role is Drives Specialist and assigned into the GCC area with responsibility as the following
1- Field support to our customers for troubleshooting, repairing, commissioning and engineering.
2- Technical support to our customers regarding day to day tasks.
3- Provide new solutions and recommendations to our customers.
4- Offer a complete retrofit plans for mature and obsolete systems.
5- Provide Technical training for customers and trainees on site and on Siemens Office.
6- Optimize the spare part lists for our customers to adjust their SP inventory.
7- Create new business profiles and opportunities for attracting new businesses.
8- Manage and coach new joiners and the Trainees in our base.

Also as a rule of Project Engineer
1- Ensure the Safety regulations of Siemens and customer site as followed.
2- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly schedules for the project related tasks.
3- Handle the Material optimization required for the project.
4- Coordinate with several parties to ensure delivery on time.
5- Optimize cost and man power on site.
6- Solve logistics problem regarding site activities.
7- Test and commission the system and handed over to our customer.

Electrical Automation and Maintenance Engineer at Suez Canal container Terminals

US dollars Investments with equipment structure of 20 Ship to Shore (STS) Cranes and 68 Rubber Tired Gantry (RTG) Crane.
My main Responsibilities are

1- Ensure Safety for each Person under my supervision.
2- Managing and supervising 4 Standby teams to solve any breakdown during Equipment operation.
3- Responsible for preventive maintenance and Corrective maintenance for Port Equipments.
4- Inspecting and Maintaining Siemens PLC Families S7-200, S7-300 and S7-400 with Decentralized peripherals.
5- Inspecting and Maintaining Siemens Master Drives Families( Simoreg, Simovert and AFE)
6- Inspecting and Maintaining Siemens SINAMICS Drive S 120 Family for cranes Application.
7- Inspecting and Maintaining Spreaders Systems from Bromma Sweden and ZPMC China
8- Inspecting and Maintaining different types of communication buses such as Profibus, CAN Bus, AS-I Bus and Drive CliQ.
9- Using Fiber optics for long distance transmission from/to PLC.
10- Inspecting and Maintaining with high voltage Systems at 22 KV connected via slip ring
11- Inspecting and Maintaining Diesel Engine (Cummins K19 & Volvo)
12- Inspecting and Maintaining Stamford Diesel Generators.
13- Understanding the principle of H-Station, CiR stations and Redundancy Station.
14- Review and modify all SOPs and Adjust new SOPs for Non-Standard Jobs.
15- Create risk assessments for all jobs and Non-Standard Jobs


Commissioning
1- Perform Factory acceptance and commissioning test for 2 STS cranes in ZPMC main base Shanghai, China to ensure the cranes are designed and built as the agreement between ZPMC and APMT.
2- The two cranes were tested at full and maximum loads and capabilities and prepare punch list item for the manufacture to correct.
3- Prepare the cranes for future implementation improvement and test the features installations


Projects
1- Designing and executing a one mobile panel for three types of Rubber Tire Gantry Cranes
with WinCC Flexible Environment under Ethernet and Profibus Communication Protocols.
2- Enhancement of Power Quality and Power Factor for STS Cranes.
3- Applying TPM Principles (Total Productive Maintenance) on our Terminal Equipments.
4- Using Infra Thermography in our daily activities.
Assignments
Leading a team of 7 members to perform technical and maintenance tasks in APM Terminal Tangier, Morocco and performing the following
1- Ensure safety for personals and equipments.
2- Providing technical support in APMT considering STS and RTG cranes jobs and Breakdowns.
3- Planning major jobs with execution teams and planning section concerning manpower, spare
parts and time management required for each task.
4- Improving preventive maintenance Standard jobs for all equipments to increase equipment
reliability.
5- Provide support in commissioning process and Breakdowns analysis.
6- Review all Spare part lists for STS and RTG and adjust min. required number for each item.
7- Applying TPM Principles on the Equipments.

1 Electrical Engineer as Execution Engineer of Electrical Modification of Existing Facilities By:
- Designing all Power Cables by calculating and Designing their New Paths and Distribution Panels with AutoCAD.
- Prepare estimation for required materials
- Replace all Power Panels in Both Facilities.
- Design and execute Lighting Schemes for two Warehouses
- Design complete Electrical Schemes for Power and Lighting for a Maintenance Workshop.
- Install Low voltage System in two floor administration building.
- Install electromechanical system in Three Labs under ISO Standards.
2 Electrical Engineer as Execution Engineer of Two Large Facilities under Construction By:
- Prepare Every Electrical Connection Will Be Required while Construction.
- Install Complete Earthing System and Make a proper Commissioning for it.
- Ensure Safe Operation for submerged pumps in underground Water tanks.
- Install Ring Main Unit 2+1 and Test it at 11KV.
- Modify the system to have the ability to install a Standby Generator with Automatic Transfer Switch for Fire fighting, Lighting and the most critical machines in the system.
