Postdoctoral Research Associate at Texas A&M University
  • Qatar
  • My current job since August 2019

duties encompass finding new research areas, consulting in different enduring and forthcoming projects, mentoring young potential engineers and researchers.
•I am coordinated on multi-phase flow assurance for cutting transport during drilling operations. The research focused on the impact of hydrodynamic conditions and different drilling operational parameters for efficient cutting transport for extended reach wells.
•The research also includes the assessments of various multi-phase flow measurement techniques, i.e., Electrical resistivity tomography (ERT), Electrical capacitance volume tomography (ECVT), Pressure measurement, High-speed Visualization and Particle image velocimetry (PIV) for horizontal and directional drilling conditions.

Postdoctoral Researcher at Teknologi PETRONAS
  • Malaysia
  • December 2018 to July 2019

on a project entitled "Investigations of dual-purpose inhibitors for Gas Hydrate and Corrosion Inhibitors."
•Coordinated on the PETRONAS Research Sdn Bhd. (PRSB) grant "CO2 hydrate formation and stability study at sea bed conditions".

Graduate Assistant at Research Interes
  • January 2013 to January 2018

Applications of Ammonium based Ionic Liquids as multi-purpose (gas hydrate + corrosion) inhibitors for Flow Assurance purposes.
•Dual-functional Gas Hydrates Mitigation.
•Comparative assessments of various multi-phase flow measurement techniques, i.e., Electrical resistivity tomography (ERT), Electrical capacitance volume tomography (ECVT), Pressure analysis, High-speed visualization, and Particle image velocimetry (PIV) in directional and horizontal drilling conditions.
•Quantify the impact of hydrodynamics parameters on effective cutting transport in directional drilling conditions.
•Quantify the impact of different drilling operational conditions on efficient cutting transport for extended reach wells.
•Impact of ionic liquid-based drilling fluids for cutting transport operations in horizontal and directional drilling conditions.
•Impact of nanofluid-based drilling fluids for cutting transport operations in horizontal and directional drilling conditions.
•COSMO-RS Applications in Gas Hydrates.
