Troubleshoot and rectify electrical related faults within reasonable timeframes
to ensure maximum availability of equipment.
* Preventive and corrective maintenance of all static & rotating field equipment’s
according to standard operating procedures.
* Inspection & condition monitoring of motors, transformer, generator.
* Be familiar with operations & maintenance, troubleshooting of motors,
Transformers, ups, rectifiers, fans, HV/LV switchboards, earthing system,
Lighting system, process gas heaters & others related electrical equipment.
* Preventive maintenance of 11kv & 6.3kv switchgear.
* Work permit procedure, (LOTOTO) lock out and tag out & tryout.
* Carry out MV/LV Isolation & De-isolation as required in accordance with
approved QHSE procedures.
* Work permit acceptor.
* Provide support for any emergency response.
* Support the senior electrical technician & maintenance supervisor in their duties.
* Turn around & projects planning, provision of support to other sections.
* Develop job plans & safe work practices of plant equipment’s.
* Attend callouts as required.
