A. Equipotential grounding
B. First aid responder
C. High voltage “Permit to work” (PTW).
D. Basic electrical concepts, testing / measuring instruments and their use.
E. Installation and maintenance of all apparatus used in overhead and underground e.g. conductors, cables, transformers, voltage regulators, auto reclosers and steel structured etc.
F. Use, care and replacement of Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE). G. Patrolling of electrical lines, location of faults.

 Developed and documented the procedures according to organization requirements listed below. A. Meter reading trainer manual B. Assistant linemen trainer manual

 Developed and coordinated all classroom training materials with managers and supervisors.

In Preventive Maintenance Section;

 Planned, scheduled and supervised the maintenance work of primary and secondary overhead and underground distribution system, Transformers, Switch reclosers, Sectionalizers, Capacitor banks and other equipment
 Supervised switching operations to carry out Preventive maintenance activities and made
recommendation pertaining to improvement in distribution system
 Inspected facilities and reported to correct irregularities and abnormal conditions
 Provided assistance to the Emergency maintenance staff in case major break and system damages occurrence
 Assisted in the administration of Safety Program and enforcement of Safety policy and practices

In New Service Connection Section;

 Planed new service connection of domestic and commercial categories of up to 15 KW Load
 Arranged material and supervised the construction of new service connections and augmentation of existing load
 Supervised and assisted in directing various phases of contracted work of new overhead & underground system construction, tree trimming, right of way clearing structure and foundation painting etc.

In Meter Reading Section;

 Supervised field tests, inspection, repair, removal and installation of Energy Meters and its equipment
 Checked and supervised the preparation of Meters reports and implemented collection of record for billing
 Directed and supervised the activity of Disconnection & Reconnection order, Meter Change & Equipment Removal Order as per company standards and procedure

In Testing and Inspection section;

 Supervised installation, testing and commissioning of High and Low voltage equipment:
o Circuit breaker, Ring main unit, Auto re-closer, Distribution, Current and Voltage Transformers, Low voltage distribution pillars and KWH energy meters.
o HV Circuit breaker opening and closing timing test
o HV Circuit breaker Contacts resistance test
o Isolation and Insulation resistance test
o Turn ratio tests
o Phase Sequence and Ground resistance tests
