PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
➢ Consult manufacturer's manuals, circuit diagrams and maintenance procedures for electrical machines and systems.
➢ Inspect and test operation of electric machines and electrical system to diagnose faults using pneumatic, electrical and electronic testing devices and precision measuring instruments.
➢ Calibrate components and instruments according to manufacturers specifications.
➢ Carried out the routine, predictive and preventive maintenance checks and tests for electric machines, electrical system and control system. Ensures accurate and correct test measurements, reporting variations to the supervisor.
➢ Discusses work assignment with supervisor, examines faulty equipment to determine scope of work and obtains necessary tools and spare parts before starting the job.
➢ Carries out new installations, modification and testing of equipment through various stages as per plan and in line with supervisor's instructions and checks adherence to all parameters before handing over of equipment to Operations.
➢ Discusses major overhaul and repair jobs with supervisor to plan their removal to the workshop for repair, replacement or reassembly.
➢ Carried out skilled diagnosis of fault and performs repair of equipment in accordance with the maintenance procedure, or work instruction, in the shortest time possible, avoiding any re-work.
➢ Checks the equipment to locate the fault, decides on appropriate method of repair and carries out the job by dismantling, assembling, replacement or repairing the parts.
➢ Complies with all HSE and fire related rules and regulations and observes all requirements stringently.
➢ Assists the supervisor in complex repairs, critical equipment shut-down and helps in maintaining data log of jobs.
Skills in Domestic and Industrial Electrical Work.
➢ Understand the electrical layout, single line diagram, manufacture's wiring diagram and manuals.
➢ Carried out Electrical Equipment / panels installation, cable laying, termination as per procedure and specifications
➢ Experience in field activities to achieve electrical completion work as per schedule.
➢ Calculating of the material requirements for required job.
➢ Authorized to perform High volts Electrical isolation and earthing of the circuits as per electrical rules and standered.
➢ Testing of transformers, motors and electrical HT, LT panels.
➢ Updating daily maintenance activities log book and report to Engineer.
➢ Having worked with singlephase, there phase Motor maintenance, star delta circuit, Reverse Forward circuit, direct online starter, cable joint, D.B Dressing, single and three phase Wiring, Electrical heaters, transformers etc.
