Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies.
- Forecasting levels of demand for products
- Conduct research to ascertain the best products and
suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and
quality
- Develop and manage purchasing budgets and forecasts.
- Plan for smooth operation by efficient management &
coordination of procurement, demand forecasting &
production supply planning functions.
- Negotiate and agree contracts, monitoring the quality of
service provided
- Develop strategies to make sure that cost savings and
supplier performance targets are met - or exceeded
- Forecast price trends and their impact on future activities
- Produce reports and statistics on spending and saving
- Train and supervise the work of other members of staff.
- Keep a constant check on stock levels
- Follow up with local and international suppliers
regarding the supply of required materials and to
ensure the deliveries are made on time.
- Analyzing the vendor's behavior and trend to
purchase the products at just the right time.
- Identify, control and develop purchasing
processes and practices, to ensure company
obtains the best value for expenditure on goods
and services
- Ensure competent quality execution of all regular
purchasing duties and administrative works.

- Developing, leading and executing purchasing strategies.

discounts to achieve reduced supply chain costs to

- Communicate with the company suppliers to ensure the
most up-to-date data is available for the supply of goods.
- Coordinate with user departments and suppliers in
the purchasing scope of work for projects
assigned.
- Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery
- Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery
information and invoices
