Currently I am working with MPACT Cloud Based Accounting company as a senior accountant and is involved in developing system to account for financial transactions by establishing chart of accounts; defining bookkeeping policies and procedures, balancing general ledger by preparing trial balance; reconciling entries, complying with state, and local legal requirements by studying their requirements; enforcing adherence to those requirements; contributing to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed and supervision of financial/management/consolidation reporting to multiple clients on weekly/monthly and quarterly basis from various sector of the business.

• I have been involved in overall management of external audits and other assurance engagements of clients ranging from start-up private co¬mpanies to development sector by performing client acceptance /continuance procedures as part of EY Global Audit Methodology, planning and developing audit strategies and procedures by performing risk assessments in response to clients’ business risks and financial risks and identifying and testing of key controls over the clients’ business and accounting processes

• Overall responsibility for resolving legal, regulatory and accounting issues that arose during the audit engagement, staying up-to-date with IFRS, local laws and regulations and listing regulations

• Evaluation of clients’ overall internal control environment including assessment of their design and operations to ensure adherence to management policies, international best practices and suggesting practical improvements / recommendations therein

• Supervised, coordinated and appraised work of engagement teams and ensured that audit objectives are efficiently achieved within the agreed time-scale and as per budgets

• Evaluated clients’ internal audit departments, reports and consider their relevance for the scope of our audit

• Drafting of audit reports, review reports, reports on agreed upon procedures, auditors’ letters to the Board of Directors and management letters highlighting audit and accounting issues, internal control weaknesses and the degree of risk involved, business improvement points and suggestions

• Ensured the implementation of EY Global Audit Methodology (GAM).

As an audit associate I worked for the firm as team member or team leader in many assignments of conducting and performing statutory audits of companies from different sectors including education and services sectors.
