Emirates International Restaurants is associated with American casual dining restaurant chain “chili’s, joe’s crab shack & Romano's Macaroni Grill

COSTING
*Steering Management Costing System which includes costing of menu items, Prep, limited time offers which helps management to decide pricing & marketing strategy.
*Monitor the valuation of closing stock in restaurant & warehouse.
*Maintain and update the comprehensive excel sheet for all restaurant which includes purchases, sale, inventory and food cost. This help us and restaurants manager to determine their daily performance.
*Maintain excel module to determine different price mix of menu item which show high selling item and low selling items with high and low cost.
*Analysing the current inventory position, its value, non-moving stock and expiry of each item and give recommendation to sell slow moving & near expiry item through any promotion.
*Handling & approving cost of imported items after enter clearing cost into system.
*Reconciling intercompany & warehouse to restaurant stock transfer and ensure correct cost has been transferred.

MANAGEMENT REPORTING
*Generating monthly reports such as Income Statement and Balance Sheet & Cash flow,
*Prepare monthly budgeted financial statement (Restaurant Branch & Brand wise) and compare it with actual financial statement to determine variance.
*Prepare estimate & forecasts.
*Conducting detailed variance analysis of all revenue & costs; preparing detailed financials & non-financial key performance indicators.
*Prepare analysis to determine the break-even of each restaurant and give recommendation to control variable & fixed cost.
*Preparing analysis to determine the current efficiency of in-house home-delivery as compare to outsource and give recommendation to improve it.
*Providing support to the Accounting Team for accounting of corporate and intercompany transactions & reconciliations
*Supporting the conduct of external audits by providing documents, information and answers to auditors
*Updating Prepayment sheet and passing allocation JV for all companies
*Preparing Monthly marketing spending report

*Responsible for overall functioning and deliverable of finance department and reporting directly to Managing Directors.
*Preparing the monthly, half yearly and annual management accounts such as Income Statement and Balance Sheet & cash flow in compliance with IFRS
*Supervise the Accounts division; ensure that all accounts responsibilities are handled efficiently and effectively.

*Product costing of imported items for trading purpose & items manufacture in UAE companies.
*Liaise with external auditors; implement recommendations if any; take corrective action wherever required.

Mannan Shahid Forgings Limited (Pakistan) is a project of Abraaj Capital, Dubai UAE. It is involved in manufacturing more than 400 different automobile parts and is regarded as largest forging manufacturer and exporter in Pakistan.

Assistant Manager Accounts at MSF reporting directly to Abraaj, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial officer. Major responsibilities include,

*Supervise & coordinate the general ledger division; ensure accuracy of information contained in financial reports & their compliance with statutory requirements.
*Finalizing monthly financial statement (Income Statement, Balance sheet, Cash flow statement), Compare monthly financial statement with budget to identify the variance.
*Prepare Budget, Forecast and Estimates.
*Product costing (Standard Costing) of more than 450 automobile parts.
*Calculate Valuation of closing inventory which includes work in progress & finish goods.
*Making multiple financial and nonfinancial analysis for board of directors.
*Responsible for daily funds position, receivables, payable position & reporting to CFO
*Making multiple financial and nonfinancial analysis for board of directors
*Preparing detailed Financials & non-financial key performance indicators.
*Assisting CFO in preparing presentation for Board meeting.
*Liaise with external & internal auditors; implement recommendations if any; take corrective action wherever required.
*Monthly reporting to Dubai office and their queries relating to this. This includes preparing weekly update, CEO commentary, Management representations regarding the internal controls and Compliance of IFRS

 To review the financial information access i.e. whether some information is need to know
 To review controls relevant to financial reporting i.e. Cut-off, follows latest IFRS etc.
