RCL is an importer of Di Ammonium Phosphate fertilizers and exporter of molasses (a by-product of sugar) and RSL is a
manufacture of Poly Propylene (PP) bags mainly for fertilizer industry - my responsibilities included
• Provided strategic view on PP bags business to the Company. Successfully negotiated with plant and machinery suppliers and assisted CEO in finalizing the deal.
• Finalized bankable feasibility models, projections, strategic operational budgets and financial statements.
• Spearheaded implementation of PP Projects from civils works to commercial operation of the Company
• Arranged long term financing and working capital lines covering funded and non-funded transactions
• Overviewed production planning, supply chain, sales functions of PP bags and activities at PP Plant
• Steered the import and clearing process of the DAP fertilizers. Maximized operational effectiveness on all
stages of supply chain management.
• Provided key input for hiring of GM Production and Marketing Manager for PP bags project
• Ensured tax planning and tax exemption certificates resulting in cash savings of more than Rs. 100 million
• Introduced systems and procedure for effective operation of the company.
• Monitored implementation of Oracle ERP system through in house team which saved Rs. 5 million

• This project was selected as a part of final year EMBA Project. The objective of this project was to assess the feasibility of this product and the timing of introduction of this project. The complete business plan was
developed with detailed analysis. The conclusion recommended the project with certain timelines which was
acknowledged by CEO of RSL.

• As CFO formed company and played a leading role in implementation of PP Bags manufacturing Plant in
Fatima Group. Major tasks included i.e. formed the Company, negotiated commercial terms with machinery
suppliers, civil work and other vendors.
