• After the Project Termination (07.June.2017), I hold positions of Forensic Scheduler and legal representative of Constructora Nuevo Maipo S.A. with the responsibilities as follows;
• Schedule delay analysis according to AACE 29R-03 recommended practices
• Schedule Impact Analysis for complex Change Order and Claims.
• Fact-finding for detailed analysis, quantification of delay and damages, economic modelling, and strategy formation.
• Demonstration of critical paths & consequent disruption etc.
• Demonstration of entitlement to EoT occurring as a result of delay/ disruption/ loss of efficiency.
• Production rate analysis and work cycle analysis to demonstrate entitlement to EoT
• Preparation in anticipation for the defences to counterclaims and advice regarding retrospective analysis for EOTs, prolongation costs, disruption and delay analysis critiques
• Developments and maintenance of the schedule in collaboration with Design, Civil, Hydro-Mechanical and Electrical Subcontractors’ and Suppliers to ensure achievement of the project strategies
• Estimation and preparation of the EACA (Estimate after contract Award) / Budget of the project.
• Monitoring of progress, KPI´s, resources, critical paths, changes and analysis of data
• Forecasting of completion dates and cost to complete the project
• Identification of bottlenecks and hurdles
• Overseeing Subcontractors and suppliers' schedules and reporting functions
• Implement Risk and Contingency Management procedures
• Review risk and contingency status with Project Management on the monthly basis.
• Preparation of monthly progress and cost report
• A legal representative from joint venture partner CMC di Ravenna, Italy to manage financial and administrator issues.
• Assisting and supporting the Project Manager in their daily tasks.
• Ensuring that relevant management information is captured and analysed.
• Reviewing the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery.
• Acting as an administrative support to Project Managers and Directors on projects.
• Identify, analyze, prioritize, mitigate and communicate project risks.
• Resolving any financial queries that raised.
• Involved in Coordinating projects from inception to completion.
• Leading and organizing a team. Keeping in close contact with key members and decision makers.
• Developing and maintenance of the Contract programme and detail construction programme
• Monitoring of progress, resources, critical paths, changes and analysis of data
• Overall coordination of project planning development and associated scheduling and cost issues with Project Manager, Production Manager and Chief Technical Engineer
• Overseeing Subcontractors and suppliers' schedules and reporting functions
• Implement planning and cost control systems, processes and methodology in accordance with FIDIC Design and Build Project Guidelines including on a monthly basis preparation of:
o Update of Overall Master Schedule
o Preparation of two and four weeks look ahead
o Monthly Progress Report
o Critical Path Analysis
o Understand the technical scope of the work and the right sequence and duration of activities to create a viable project plan to achieve the project completion on time
o Provide monthly accruals, Project cost reports, Spending profiles and other cost status reports projecting manager
o Gathering accurate Incurred Cost
o Calculate project forecasts cost using change management, risk management and progress measurement by EVMS
• Preparation of Matrix to show the split of work into zones/area, discipline and responsibility.
• Preparing WBS and OBS and prepares their mapping.
• Preparation of schedule for the purchase of materials, Consumables, machines and Plant requirement.
• Responsible for overall control of the Project and Level III plan.
• Ensuring that Field Engineering efficiently performs their function of estimating BOM and BOQ, preparation of fabrication and installation drawings, and providing clarification where ever required.
• Regularly performings critical path analysis anticipates bottlenecks and highlights these to Site Manager.
• Ensuring preparation of shops and as build drawings.
• Work closely with Financial Controller in developing cost reports comparing cost vs. revenue on a cost centre basis.
• Responsible for training the company employees on the company systems.
• In the absence of SM/CM, taking a stand for the site works
• Working as “Construction Manager” responsible for the direct control and evaluation of the building and industrial projects from beginning to end according to schedule and budget.
• Preparation of contract negotiation and amendment of the contractual agreements with Engineer, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Develop and implement quality control programs.
• Direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisition.
• Supervise the activities of subcontractors for Electric, Plumbing, HVAC, Elevators, Aluminium and Finishing works.
• Site inspection coordination with Engineer and Municipality.
• “Assistant Structural Designer” for the designing of concrete as well as steel structure of bungalows and industrial buildings.
• “Site inspector” during my job at a different site for checking the bills and quality control of work in progress.
• “Site responsible” to conduct meetings with associated Consultants, Contractor, and Client.
• Prepare quantities of different projects like Bungalows, Water Park, Factories, Mills, and Hospitals.
• Preparation of “Contract Documents” and “Tender Documents” for the residential and commercial projects.
• Prepare “Comparative Reports” of project tenders.
• Manage the “Technical Correspondence” and literature related to work.
