Carry out preventive maintenance activities, and carry out skilled maintenance, repair and testing of LV/MV electrical equipments.
Interpret, read and analyze drawings to troubleshoot electrical problems.
Test, calibrate, diagnose and repair various electrical works.
Participated in the assigned plant shutdown activities and ensure timely completion of job activities.
Isolate and energize LV and HV motors and accept electrical permit to work.
Comply with all company Health, Safety and Environment as well as Work Permit, policies and procedures.
Provide work direction and instruction to the contractor craftsman.
Maintenance activities and ensure that the job is performed as per requirement and complete the maintenance activity sheet.
Collect technical data from the field on demand of area engineer.
Material handling and inspection of spares at the time of procurement process.
Use of ICS (Inventory Control System) for material issuance.
Provide input for the preparation of Method statements and Initiate Near miss reports.
Identify areas for improvement in the activities performed and assist the senior section personnel to carry out modifications and improvements to the system.
Carry out visual inspection and be vigilant to identify any developing problem in the area assigned, and report any problems to the relevant supervisor.
Participate in Emergency Response duties as a team member.
Ensure the integrity and reliability of electrical system/equipment, in view of equipment age and obsolescence.
Two years Apprenticeship in FFBL (Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim Limited) From 1st October 2007 to 30th October 2009 as an Electrical Technician Maintenance.
After apprenticeship I have performed my duties as an Electrical Technician Maintenance for 2.5 years.
