Final Project
Title: GSM Based Digital Liquid Level Control System using Microcontroller
Developed a mathematical modeling of coupled tank which is represent in state space equation, after that by using MATLAB it is converted into transfer function to analyze and observe under process parameters such as step response, transient response, steady state error, stability etc. The level controller was implemented with closed loop and latest microcontroller techniques of Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) despite of analog techniques. Microcontroller take the input from level sensors, check the desired level, generate PWM to activate reservoir DC motor and the solenoid valve to refill the tanks for accurate level. Its applications are in various fields like Petroleum Industries, Pharmaceutical Industries, Chemical Industries, Food Processing Industries, Paper Industries and Boilers in Power plants etc.
It has the following features
* Producing the desired transient response, reducing steady state errors.
* Control the speed and saving energy of DC motor using efficient technique of PWM
* Reported about the liquid level using LCD and texting on a predefined cell number. This was made possible with the help of GSM module
