Currently working as an Associate in the Internal Audit Department of TeleCard Limited from April 2012.
Position Objective: - Examine and evaluate the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of the organization’s internal control systems and procedures and recommend corrective actions to improve operations, enhance internal controls and reduce costs, where possible. As an Internal Auditor, departmental responsibilities are:
Draft Internal Audit Plan of the organization and now working on Audit Charter.
Review, suggested amendments in policies and procedures, if necessary.
Departmental audits, as management instructed.
Audit day to day activities on pre-audit basis. Assessing compliance with laws and regulations and multiple organizational policies and procedures.
Evaluating risks and internal controls by identifying areas of non-compliance.
Gauging manual and automated financial processes.
Identify inefficient processes, weaknesses.
Communicate audit progress and findings by providing information in status meetings.
Highlight unresolved issues; review working papers; prepare final audit reports.
Frequent interaction with key personnel within the organization.
Besides Internal Audit, also beneficial to other departments in:
Achieve coordinated effort in making Fixed Assets Register and Tagging.
Working as team in making the accounting policies and procedures.
Also worked as an Associate-Finance in the Tax Department, and reporting to Head of Tax. As an Associate-Finance, my key responsibilities were:
E-filing of Sales Tax and Income Tax not only of Telecard but also of the group companies as well.
Prepare reports on tax matters.
To issue the income tax certificates of suppliers.
During this tenure, I also assist my reporting authority in insurance work.
Joined as Associate - BU - WLL - Finance. As Associate - BU - WLL - Finance, my responsibilities were:
Responsible to prepare the Budget of BU WLL and check the variances accordingly.
Handle the financial and accounting matters of the WLL - TELCO Business Line.
Ensure timely receipts, execution of sales and reporting on daily basis.
Prepare the documents against Letter of Credit.
Prepare, review, and submit the Sales Report on monthly basis.
Provide assistance to improve the controls of System through MIS.
During the period working as a Manager Accounts & my key responsibility includes:
Finalization of accounts and review them with intervals.
Handle tax issues.
Budget preparation on yearly, half yearly and quarterly basis.
Prepare and control the fund flow position.
Review the sales targets, achievements, and level of expenses with different intervals.
Also assist in setting overall business sales targets and also work on future business plans.
My key responsibilities were:
Preparation of Accounts.
Filing sales tax returns.
Handle the matters related to banks.
Worked as a Finance Internee.
