• Leading the Mechanical Quality department.

• Punch listing of piping packages for Cat 'A' and 'B" and ensure that properly identified valves are installed in accordance with the flow diagram.
• Verification of closed punch items and conduct walk through for each completed piping system prior to mechanical acceptance.
• Review and approval of Test Package.
• Ensure that pipe supports, hangers and guides have been installed in accordance with the piping drawings and the pipe support details.
• Check the correct installation of special pipe support and the use of correct type of standard support in accordance with the information shown on the detail drawing.
• Inspect piping just before erection to verify that interior is clear of foreign materials.
• Witnessing Hydro & Gravity Testing in accordance with the approved Procedure.
• Re-instatement inspection of Test Packages
• Inspecting the incoming materials for damages, dimensions and corrosions and ensure that MTC is available and according to the requirements.
• Ensure satisfactory identification of materials, proper protection of piping and fittings. Verify proper size and schedule of pipe, rating of flanges, proper flange face and fittings.
• Confirm repairs, re-testing and re-inspection in accordance with specifications. Ensure blinds are removed and correct gaskets are installed.
• Verify that control valves and other items that were removed for the test are replaced. Check that water has been removed from check valves.
• Checking all completed jobs before issuing RFI to minimize punch list items.
• Leak test inspections of piping systems.
• Installation inspection of equipment including Orientation/Location and Elevations.
• Troubleshooting Punch list & Non Conformance reports (NCRs).
• Installation inspection of foundation Anchor bolts including location and levelness prior to set up of equipment such as pumps, Air handling units, Motors etc.
• Visual inspection of internal and external damages of equipment including lining and coating condition.
• Air Blow/Blast blow inspection of piping system to achieve cleanliness and dryness.
• Pre Alignment inspections prior to pipe connections as per vendor specs
• Inspection of Pump/Motor base plate location and elevations.
• Ensure that the works being carried out is in good engineering practice and conforms to Relevant engineering standards.
• Preparation and submitting of red line mark-ups / as-built drawings.
• Receiving work permits, implementing standard procedures and safety rules and regulations, participating in weekly safety meetings and familiarizing with all relevant safety induction like 100% Fall Protection, Confined Space Entry, Working at height and Housekeeping etc.
• Identifying additional work and modification works and preparation of progress report.
• Communicating and forwarding the data of daily progress and weekly progress to the Client, attending crucial meeting, technical discussion and planning for further assignments in hand, Raising request for inspection (RFI) to Client for inspection of daily ongoing works.
• Carry out visual check as per the Project specifications to maintain quality control and assurance, Reviewing and approving of As-built drawings, data sheets, construction drawings and covering IFC, P&ID, and installation Details, etc.
• Compile all the inspection reports to prepare QC Dossier for onward submission to client.
• Pressure test inspections (Hydrostatic and Pneumatic tests) of piping system as per related Standards.
• Gravity test inspection of drainage piping systems.
• Checking all handover documents for material receiving, prepare daily inspection documents and final acceptance documents prior to project completion.
• Implementation of Project Technical Specification (PTS)/ Technical Specification of Work (TSOW) and related International Industry Standards and codes i.e. ASME (B31.1, 31.3, 31.8)/API (620/650)/ ASTM/IPC/IBC.
• Preparation of welding procedure specification (WPS) for different materials.
• QA/QC Representor from Contractor for All infrastructural Mechanical Work in Such as Chilled & Hot water pipe lines, Storm & Sewer Pipe lines, Portable and Fire Pipe lines and Irrigation Pipe line.
• Installation inspection of Chilled & hot water Pipe line including supervision of welding works.
• Supervising the NDE Examination with third party Inspection i.e. Visual inspection, Radiography, Magnetic particles etc.
• Welding fit-up Inspection prior to Root pass as per WPS.
• Installation (Line tracking/Line check) inspections as per P&ID, coordination with Isometric and Pipe Support detail drawings with related pipe design tables for different services i.e. Fuel Gas/Fuel Oil/Lubrication oil/Demin Water/Distilled Water/Potable Water/Service Water/ Instrument Air/ Service Air etc.
• To prepare PQP and ITP as per the scope of work and submit for client approval.
• To study and implementation of IFC drawings, project approved ITP, specific project related method procedures and prepare inspection schedule and perform inspections accordingly.
• To monitor the site works as per approved ITP and maintain the RFI register / RFI log sheet.
• Plan and schedule for the project material inspection with the Coordination of site Engineer.
• To arrange material inspection as per received material receiving reports (MRR) and maintain its record with QC comments.
• Material Inspections for Airport Special systems such as baggage handling system, lifts, Elevators and Travellator
• Fuel oil flushing inspection at different stages of piping systems including clean screen tests.
• Water flushing inspections at different stages of piping systems including clean screen tests.
• Attend and contribute to Site and project technical meetings.
• After internal verification, raise external RFI with inspection report to client representative.
• Involved for mechanical inspections related to Rotary and Static Equipment
• Prepare and maintain different test formats for the project inspection.
• Verified all materials used for the construction and ensured that they were premium quality.
• Documented the work conducted on the site and assisted the client in the inspection.
• Review of calibration status of any test equipment being utilized on the project ensuring the equipment is within calibration prior to use on site. Provide support and advice to the personnel in relation to the project quality control system.

• Preparation and Implementation of RFI (Request for Inspection) handling Procedure.

• Identify quality faults, reject non-conformity items and recommending solution to the problems, control further processing of non-confirmative items.
• Punch list items which need to be rectified is referred to team to comply with, and the one which satisfies the project standard were communicated to the Client.
• Carry out inspection of Mechanical incoming materials that are being used at QA/QC lab as per project specification.
• Coordinate with Consultant QA/QC personnel and Client QA/QC Engineer for the inspections.
• Ensure that the contractors comply with all aspects of the project HSE plan and policies and Client requirements.
• Manage all concerned manpower & file the related documents, also responsible of preparing daily, weekly & Monthly progress reports and reported to concern manager
• Responsible for installation and monitoring for assembly of Plant according to approved Drawings.
• Plans & execute Mechanical related works and coordinate the work to Electrical & civil groups.
• To supervise the RAW Water and Portable water tanks Installation and valve Packages.

Studied and performed different Workshop practices like (Turning, Facing, Threading, Tapering,Drilling, Taping, Machining, Knurling, Grinding, and also, Milling operations like Slotting, Gear Cutting, etc.)Studied about architectural techniques and drawn different kind of mechanical shapes in 1st angle and 3rd angle projection. Completed different type of fabrication projects as assigned during study of B.tech.
