To monitor company occupational health and safety policy, programs, and procedures.
Performs risk evaluations at new locations to identify potential areas for risk reduction.
Perform regular patrols, inspections, evaluations, and/or walk-throughs of facilities and/or properties.
Providing safety awareness at the site by training and monitoring toolbox talks
Inducting new employees as per company HSE policy.
Creates and maintains practical and safe working systems.
Promote a safety-conscious culture across the whole company by working with managers and department leaders.
Inspecting the permits such as General permit, Work at height and Hot Work Permit.
Ensure all staff from temp, contract workers to regular employees have completed necessary training and are equipped for roles.
Review and update emergency response plans and procedures, and conduct drills to ensure readiness.
Purchasing and monitoring task related PPE to all workforce.
Monitor health and safety environment management system at site.
Conduct periodic HSE meetings internally and participate at client level meetings
Conduct HSE audits internally and coordinate activities to comply with client and head office audits.
Maintaining the records of inspection such as, fire extinguishers, firefighting equipment, Power tools, provision of working equipment's, Chemical inventory, and Waste management.
Conducting daily/weekly toolbox talk and training and assigning the task to the responsible person.
Suggest and execute corrective actions and enhancements to prevent accidents and injury.
Keep up to date on innovative safety innovations, regulatory developments, and industry best practices.
Conduct Periodic Inspection of Fire extinguishers and other firefighting equipment.
Near miss reporting and accident investigation.
Assist in coordinating emergency response efforts and offer direction and support when necessary.
Educates staff members on health and safety hazards and concerns through internal training.
Aims for continual enhancement in employee performance in terms of health and safety as well as management of health and safety within the organization.
Conduct daily job specific pre task briefings or STARRT.
Determine patterns in the safety data and suggest actions to lower risk and boost safety effectiveness.
Maintains documentation of inspection results and generates reports with recommendations for enhancements.
Duties and responsibilities:
Providing safety awareness at the site by training and monitoring TBT
Inducting employees as per company HSE policy.
Inspecting the permits such as Hot Work Permit,
Height work permit, general Permit, and confined space permit.
Identify and monitor hazardous situations, often including risk categorization.
Minimize hazards and proactively reduce risk in the workplace.
Investigate incidents and reporting.
Inspecting equipment.
Inspection of certifications of equipment's and operators operating the equipment.
Create and track safety-related objectives, metrics, and goals for the organization.
Enforcing safety policies.
Safeguarding inventory.
Coordinating first aid training programs.
Safety internal audits.
Advise and instruct on various safety-related topics.
Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventive measures.
Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation.
Conduct site inspections and take corrective action.
Execution of Work permit system, JHA and its timely renewal.
Investigate incidents and reporting.
Ensure compliance with the norms of client, government legislation and international standards regarding Health, Safety and Environment.
Train employees (safety induction, toolbox talk, job specific training...)

Documentation of all HSE activities.
Organize and maintain all safety and compliance-related forms.
