Created and implemented operation process for Managed Services. Responsibilities include the development of project proposals, planning, decision-making and project fiscal management


•Lead planning and implementation of projects. Participate in the design and testing phases

•Managed the entire life cycle of project management activities to ensure customer satisfaction, project continuity and internal consistency.

•Supervise and coordinate professional, technical, and non-technical staff by establishing performance measures, goals, objectives and priorities, providing direction and feedback, and ensuring assigned projects/tasks are completed accurately and by the specified due date.

•Successfully performed as facility manager for voice and data network specialists in a 7x24 operations center to ensure network reliability according to the service level agreement.

•Work with vendors to ensure delivery of vendor services are in line with SLAs, vendor’s coordination, resolution of vendor issues and identifying process gaps for improvement opportunities in vendor performance. Also assessing vendor performance and ensuring that all vendor operations adhere to Customer’s quality guidelines.

•Prepares regular progress, project status and problem resolution reports regarding status of plans. Organizing weekly team meetings with staff and senior managers.

•Proven ability to form effective working relationships with key customers, stakeholders and colleagues within a complex management structure

•Facilitate the definition of project missions, goals, tasks, and resource requirements; resolve or assist in the resolution of conflicts within and between projects or functional areas; developed methods to monitor project progress; and provide corrective supervision if necessary.

•Manage a small team of Technical Engineers through activities related to product trials and product introductions

•Facilitate the definition of service levels and customer requirements. Interact regularly with existing clients to determine their needs and to develop plans for improving delivery. Advocate on behalf of clients and represent clients' needs as appropriate to senior management. Work cross-functionally to solve problems and implement changes.

•Involved in the creation of project documents such as Scope of Work, Project Implementation Plan, Design Documents, Method of Procedure and As-Built

•Prepare and implement operations process, procedures and policies for managed services. Supervised tasks handled by managed service team

•Preparation and execution of schedules, rosters, contingency plans and procedures for preventive maintenance and development of the network. Build necessary training course for Client & Local staff and provide these training on timely basis.

Senior IREG (International Roaming Expert Group) Engineer في Saudi Telecom Company

Expand, Operate, Maintain and Optimize International Roaming functionality, expertise in establishment of International Roaming Signalling & managing worldwide roaming partners (500+ Operators) for all existing 2G and 3G Roaming Services, while ensuring efficient and uninterrupted Basic and Value added services for Inbound and Outbound roamers.


•Project coordination, conception, planning and implementation with internal departments for all International Roaming related projects.

•Monitoring & analysis of ISUP, SCCP, TCAP, MAP, CAMEL & GPRS faults in STC GSM network.

•Managed roaming operations for new GSN’s (Ericsson and Huawei) and existing GSN’s upgrades and fixes.

•Detect, Study, Analyze & escalate any Steering mechanism used by roaming partner’s via SS7-MAS. Study daily Roamer Reports, SMS Reports and trends summary reports and analyze any abnormalities for sudden drop/increase in Roamers or any failure of Roaming service.

•Perform acceptance test approval for Roamware and VAS products.

•Perform evaluations and advice STC on RFP and Scope of work proposals in selecting mobile service tools.

•Co- ordination with roaming partners and internal sections for solving Customer complaints, implementing new GSM and UMTS services, rate plans.

•Provide support for Roamware Applications (Roaming Replicator (Signaling Relay System), Short Codes (SC), Smart Call Assistance (SCA), Outreach/Welcome Messaging, Network Traffic Redirection (NTR), IRTMS, SCAP (Passive & Active), LMS (Loyalty Management System).

•Co-ordinate with STC departments (IR, IN, VAS, MTAC, Design and Marketing) and external bodies (RP, GRX, Ameex-SMS HUB) for smooth IREG process & integration for new roaming services.

•Periodic Routine DT Audit in whole GSM Network to ensure all network elements (HLR / VLR / SMSC / STG / FNR / MMSC / GRX / GGSN / SGSN/CCN/SDP) data have been implemented in accordance with updated IR21’s received from Roaming partners and Marketing.

Worked as a Team Lead in Network Site Audit And Optimization Project for Saudi Telecom Company. Conducted Site audit for Ericsson, Huawei and Nokia Metro, Micro and Indoor Cells.

Inspected materials on arrival at job site to ensure they meet the required contract specifications. Schedule and carry out audits of Quality Control and procedures in a timely, efficient, and unbiased manner.

Monitored Site audit reports and gave suggestions on improving network performance. Planned the monthly schedule for the sites to be audited by the teams using mapinfo tool.

Correct and follow up for BTS / MW Transmission faults, performance degradations, troubleshoot on the live network, implement Operations and Maintenance (O&M) processes to restore the links, reduce service outages and reporting Site Visits to Ericsson (NFM).

Prepare and Conduct of Acceptance test (PAT and FAT), Field Trial procedures. Work as a team member in work groups that evaluates tenders and identify the right contractor for Spare Plug in Units.

Involved in expansion project which consisted upgrading the network to improve capacity. Successfully completed sector adds, multiple cabinet configurations and site replacements. Conducted all phases of construction procedures, organizing, and coordinating projects for maximum efficiency.
