Key Responsibilities:
• Manage outlet operations, including food and beverage promotions, guest services and inventory handling and control to enhance image of the hotel.
• Provide assistance to the outlet manager in controlling employees and ensuring food handlers’ certifications before the expiry dates.
• Monitor the performance of outlet service staff to identify the areas of improvement and provide feedback to the staff for performance improvement and better guest service.
• Delegate responsibilities, schedule operations, closely supervise and guide the staff and provide coaching to improve the experience of the guests.
• Monitor inventory status of the outlet, maintain cleanliness, rotation of food and consistency of menu to serve fresh food the clients.
• Implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with hazard analysis and critical control points for food safety from biological, chemical and physical hazards.
• Assist outlet management in complying with kitchen rules, service standards, cleanliness and inventory control for food and beverages.
• Train the shift leaders to improve awareness about the duties and responsibilities and improve ownership of the roles to seek their full involvement.
• Organize and conduct training programs for par levels of food, beverage and paper supplies to arrange to raise requisitions at the end of the day.
• Provide assistance in establishing methods and procedures for inventory control and compliance with purchasing policy and systems.
• Responsible for proper maintenance, cleaning and operation of the outlet and service equipment as per the standards of the hotel.
• Continuously strive to enhance and upgrade client experience in the services rendered by the hotel by introduction of new initiatives.
