•Correspond and liaise with key actors in the mine action field including government ministries and entities, national and international organizations such as the International Committee of the Red Cross, Geneva International Centre for Humanitarian Demining, James Madison University’s Center for International Stabilization and Recovery etc.

•Develop an outreach and advocacy program to inform key actors about the new Jordan Landmine Ban Law; supervise design and printing of publications, presentation material and set schedule for the program
•Update the Amman-based international donor community on the International Relations Department’s progress during quarterly Donor Working Group meetings.
•Organize annual celebration on the ‘International Day for Mine Awareness and Assistance to Mine Action’ on April 4th.
•Ensure that all NCDR activities and programs are carried out in accordance with the Anti-Personnel Mine Ban Convention’s articles and guidelines, as well as international mine action standards and international humanitarian law and Jordan’s national mine ban law.
•Represent Jordan at Mine Ban Convention’s annual Intersessional Meetings of the Standing Committees and the Meeting of States Parties in Geneva (2008, 2010), Colombia (2009), Cambodia (2011). Represent NCDR at other international, regional or local meetings and events as required.
•Coordinate visits by international delegations to Jordan, including organizing meetings with key local partners.
•Produce press releases, publications and documents for NCDR
•Supervise International Relations Coordinator’s duties
•Project Manager of annual Explosive Remnants of War International Senior Managers Training Courses (ERWTC) in 2009, 2010 and 2011 and the ERW Regional Training Course for Operational Staff in Quality Management in 2011.
•Managed the multi-year ($1.7 million) grant for ERW Training Project from US Department of State Office of Weapons Removal and Abatement.
•Direct supervisor responsible for three permanent program staff as well as up to three further temporary staff members during training duration.
•Liaising with local and international training partners and instructors to coordinate their participation and delivery of lectures during training as well as scheduling their lectures at the appropriate time within the overall course schedule
•Develop training program curriculum and schedule
•Responsible for developing training program funding proposals, preparing and submitting quarterly reports, develop and follow budget
•Responsible for selection process of participants to attend training courses, ensuring they meet the requirements
•First time for training programs of this nature and these subjects to take place in the Middle East, and also the first time for training programs of this nature to be delivered in the Arabic language. Provided training to a total of 93 international and regional participants from 37 countries.
•Selected, wrote and edited news stories for new English language site, both local and international news
•Ammon News’ ‘Chief Editor for the day’ on International Women’s Day 2009

•Keep accurate and detailed accounts of incoming and outgoing petty cash flow and provide Financial Manager with regular weekly and monthly Petty Cash reports.
•Closely assist CEO in coordination and planning of Rebuild Iraq annual conference 2005.
•Project Manager of Rebuild Iraq 2006 Conference (co-organized with IFP Group), coordinate conference program, recruit local and international speakers, and oversee all related activities dealing with speakers and conference program.
•Coordinate American Jordanian Conference and Expo AJEX 2006 organized by AmCham-Jordan. (www.ajex.org)
•Work with Training Department in coordinating training workshops, recruiting participants, coordinating trainers and organizing logistics.
•Work with Membership Department by coordinating all documentation and certification that new members submit, such as company registration documentation, completed application forms, profiles, business directory form etc.
•Work with Programs & Events Officer to organize AmCham events, conferences, coordinate conference schedules and make arrangements to bring local and international guest speakers.
•AmCham-Jordan InfoCenter: Oversee and disseminate incoming requests, inquiries and correspondence as well as all outgoing correspondence.
•Contribute to writing, editing and development of AmCham publications and documents, coordinate external contributions from members.
•Build awareness and understanding of product amongst consumers
•Drive specific marketing campaigns and projects, which vary, from events, PR, energizing, information gathering and building relationships
•Record data and to give regular feedback to the Team Manager
•To be proactive and entrepreneurial in order to develop new ways to reach the consumer
