• Ensure stock management of essential medicines, hospital equipments and NFI supplies through proper receiving, inventory control and distribution of program supplies
• Tracking of donations as gift in kind, its reporting to Home office (USA) in the form of Revenue reporting, distribution, inventory balances and need assessment for future.
• Coordinate with procurement department & suppliers in order to ensure timely arrival of program supplies and proper warehousing.
• Coordination and working in collaboration with program managers, medicine supply chain officers, transporters as well as field officers in order to maintain proper supply chain.
• Supervise and support team for proper documentation, quality assurance, security and maintenance of warehouse.
• Reporting to Supervisor on daily, weekly as well as monthly basis regarding status of program supplies.
• Prepare lists for Essential Medicines, Health equipments and other supplies; distribution plans and ensuring its smooth implementation.
• Track all items procured against raised Purchase Request(s), ensure their timely delivery to required field offices.
• Liaise with Govt. departments including NIH/ DTL to get required certifications on pharmaceutical quality assurance of medicines -as per need.
•Assisting the programme team to review consumption-base quarterly procurement requests and ensure unrestricted supply to all Save the Children supported health facilities
• Describing and implementing the elements of cGMP to produce high quality products with optimum potency, efficacy and safety.
• Developing and implementing strategic plan as well as developing systems to ensure batch production records are initiated and released in a timely manner.
• Providing leadership and project management for technology transfer, process investigations, scale-up, process validation and optimization of solid dosage forms spanning the entire product life cycle.
• Developing work schedules for department by assessing priorities, workload and available resources.
• Working closely with management for ensuring ISO 9001:2008-14001:2004 protocols and standards.
• Assisting the QA Manager in Implementing policies and objectives.
• Develop, maintain and mange procedures for suppliers and write manufacturing specifications-BMR.
• Management of internal & external audit program.
• Coordinating all validation activities associated with production and Quality Control i.e. process, equipment, utility, analytical method, testing equipments.
• Reviewing of the quality assurance system and procedures together with referenced standards.
• Checking the quality level of incoming goods, according to predefined procedures.
• Ensuring all relevant QA in-process checks and line clearances are performed in day-to-day production activities.
• Reviewing BMR/BPR and QC data for each batch of product and giving final release before dispatch of the product
