• Participate in planning solutions to major construction problems arising during the construction.
• Provide step-by-step specified instructions to site engineers regarding work to be performed.
• Review all materials, consumable and requisitions raised by subordinates to prevent duplication and waste.
• Review cost and code allocation of materials, consumables, man-hours and plant hours to ensure that they are
kept within budget.
• Prepare necessary reports concerning project performance and progress and submit to section head for review
and approval.
• May participate in preparation of inspection and test plans in accordance with contract requirements and
carrying out final test and inspection of work prior to handover.
• Obtain complete electrical works verified by client and compare electrical items against inventory list for handing
over the project to client.
B.
• Study and verify the issue for construction drawings (IFC drawings with section details)
• Preparing Material Submittal /Material Approved Request (MAR).
• Preparing Material take off (MTO) for all E&I systems.
• Request the material required for E & I department.
• Follow the material requisition with site engineers and other departments (QC, QS, & Procurement).
• Reporting the status of material to project engineer and construction manager.
• Close out E&I documents and Handover the project.
• Raising technical queries to clients and ensuring its implemented.
• Troubleshooting all the site issues and ensuring its implemented.
• Co-ordination with clients & engineering dept. to solve the technical issues.
• Prepare and submit spare part data package to contract as per Armco stander and requirement.
• Prepare and submit manufacturer data record to contractor as per Armco stander and requirement.
• Preparing and closing out all project documentation for E&I department.
• Reviews material status reports to provide material delivery updates to Construction Management.
• Day-to-day management and tracking of pick tickets and ensuring that they are completed in timely manner.
• Implement all processes to agreed standards and targets and support continuous improvement initiatives and
identify areas of improvement.
C.
• Plan and run the commissioning program (lots, sequences, windows) aligned to the construction master
schedule; keep a live CAT (Commissioning Activity Tracker) and punch/defect logs.
• Perform and validate tests to Project Specs and international standards and close comments to final acceptance.
• Coordinate daily with GC/subcontractors/vendors/Consultant on prerequisites, energization windows, and
permit-to-work.
• Supervise and sign off commissioning of MV switchgear, RMU, transformers, LV switchboards/DBs, MCCs,
VFDs, PFC, emergency power (genset/UPS), earthing & bonding, protection & metering.
• Validate MEP system commissioning interfaces (HVAC/Plumbing/Fire/BMS) from an electrical perspective:
power-up readiness, interlocks, controls, alarms
• Draft and deliver O&M and training manuals, spares lists, and warranties; support training and client sign-off.
• Drive regular progress/technical/Cx meetings; surface risks early and execute recovery plans. Day-to-day ELV
commissioning planning, priorities, and resourcing; maintain live trackers and punch/defect logs.

Duties
A.
• Receive project designs, contract documents, project plans, and other related documents to understand the
overall technical work to be performed related to electrical engineering.
• Prepare for project execution as per plans and provide technical support for construction efforts including
participation in construction planning and design.
• Coordinate with section heads and with other engineers to assist in preparation of applications concerning
construction methods, resolutions and documentation of conflicts, constructability reviews, etc.
• Ensure the quality of work performed related to electrical engineering function in support of overall project
schedule.
• Monitor the plant and equipment availability, and consequent requirements throughout the construction phase.
