Responsibilities:
• Lead project management teams in multiple projects dealing with multiple technologies and manage activities across design, implementation, factory/site acceptance up to handover to the end user.
• Manage delivery of a wide range of deliverables in the automation applications & services portfolio including DCS (Distributed Control Systems), ESD (Emergency Shutdown System), RTU (Remote terminal units), VMS, PLC (PROGRAMMABLE LOGIC CONTROLLER), APC (Advanced process control) and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition).
• Utilize Emerson global resources and standards to ensure achievement of specified quality standards, budget and schedule for each project deliverable
• Lead all procurement activities including scope preparation, technical and commercial evaluation of offers, selection of subcontractors/vendors, negotiation and award of contracts and control of subcontractor delivery/performance.
• Review and vet tenders for new projects and support the tendering and sales team in preparation of technical and commercial offers.
• Support project teams/operations managers in the Middle East & Africa (MEA) region in preparation and review of project revenues/forecasts.
• Participate in sharing of knowledge & experience with MEA engineering/project teams as well as the wider Emerson organization.

• Supervised project management teams in the Western and Southern regions of KSA, dealing with delivery of projects in the telecom, protection, control, RTU and substation automation system portfolios.

• Managed the deployment of Etihad Etisalat Optical Metro project in the Western region, undertaking extensive travel to provide technical and administrative support to deployment managers.
• Monitored and controlled the project budget ensuring achievement of financial objectives.
• Ensured delivery of contracted obligations to the customer exceeding outcomes planned in the offer phase, leading to customer satisfaction and retention of Alcatel-Lucent as a vendor of choice for generation of incremental business.

Worked in the Alcatel-Lucent bids & proposals department dealing with responses to requests for proposals/quotations (RFX) from Etihad Etisalat (Mobily)
Analyzed customer requirements and developed proposals offering multiple solutions covering civil works, optic fiber, GSM, managed services and network operations centers.
Led the proposals team as the principal interface with the client for generation of new business, creating through-life, value for money solutions to client RFXs contributing to the building of the company’s order book.
