Profile:
• Manage day-to-day activities of quality team in close co-ordination with related departments for the new development support, process measurement requirements, productivity control.
• Report daily to General Manager on all activities of the days. Any unusual activity must be carefully discussed together to decide and implement corrective actions.
• Laboratory Setup: Designed and established laboratory from zero hour to milestones production level.
• Quality Control Device Management: Evaluation, selection, procurement, installation and commissioning all devices used for quality testing.
• Quality Control Management: Implementation of quality control system such as sampling plan, procedures, specifications and standards etc. for the product being transfer from development stage to production stage.
• Control calibration, verification and monitoring (by using internal & external support) of all IPQC/OQC testers & process measurement devices through Global Metrology System Module in OPRIS (Order Processing and Reporting Information System).
• Statistical Studies: correlation, repeatability, reproducibility, process capability studies, control charts and many more quality tools applied for different quality control equipment and process control. Target to achieve Zero defect.
• Set department KPI’s on quarterly basis related to productivity, product quality, personnel safety, housekeeping & proper equipment up keep.
• Monitor and periodically review actual results on set objectives & report on objectives achievement to the “Core Management Team”.
• Preparation and follow up of department budget on yearly basis.
• Responsible for vendor development and vendor quality rating.
• Provide customer development support to sales and marketing department by doing benchmarking, product specifications and customer complaint analysis.
• Maintain CAPA for in-house & detail analysis of customer complaints related to functional problem of our products, sharing found facts with concern departments to improve product further.
• Documentation, data control and to keep up the laboratory as per ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001 and company safety norms.
• Incoming raw material procurement, planning & testing.
• Introduced 5’s techniques throughout the department.
