11KV Operation:
1. Execute the Switching operation Program in 11KV Electrical Distribution Networks between MAJOR (132/33/11 KV) and RINGMAIN substation (11/433 KV). In order to avoid the power loss, equal load sharing, an Efficient and smooth Switching operation had been carried out in the 11KV networks.
2. Actively addressed and rectified all kind of faults in the 11KV substation by the earliest. Attend breakdown and all types of emergency nature of work in Substation.
3. During operation, attend emergency faults in protection, control circuits and power gears of 11KV equipment’s. Modifications, retrofitting, changing of relay settings etc., as per the system requirement in the 11KV networks connections.
4. When the demand strains the capacity of the 11KV EDN system, In order to avoid the power failure in the entire 11KV distribution networks, carried out the load shedding in the LT/Consumer side or 11KV EDN system.
5. Follow up’s and preparation of reports in 11KV faulty Cables, Cable Testing, work of laying cables, installation of equipment's in area substations and OHL networks in Remote areas (Including LT Boards and Relays).
6. Supervise the Commissioning, Testing and replacement of Transformers, RMU (Ring Main Unit), Unit Distribution System (UDS), Spur Transformers and RING MAIN substation.
Maintenance and Planning:
7. Prepare and manage the maintenance schedule for 11KV Ring main substation, Over-Head Line (OHL) and leak maintenance for UDS, Spur and local transformers.
8. Carried out the Switching Operation for the prepared the maintenance schedules, In order to avoid the power failure in the EDN.
9. Supervise in 11KV Protective gear periodic maintenance, Transformer oil leak and 11KV substation maintenance. After maintenance, monitored all the substation components and systems. Based on the complaints, will take the necessary actions and suggestion to be provided.
10. In additional, Preparation of new Scheme's in EDN to accumulate and adapt the future Power demands in the EDN. Like, additional of 11 KV panels in Substations, Additional of OHL with direct Majors (400/33/11KV), Installation of RMU, UDS, Local Transformers, Spur Transformers, laying 11 KV UG cable had been successfully executed as per MEW standards.
11. Planned and delivered complete and well-organized training had given to new hires like Engineers (Kuwaitis) and technicians.

• Control and automation marine Engineer with 7.7 years experience with GE/Converteam in Marine Automation, with ample experience in Detail Engineering, software modifications/upgrade, application development, Calibration, Integration of Navigation systems, PME's, Sensors, involved with product enhancement team in technical support activities. Exposure in DCS, HMI and SCADA Testing, Implementation of vessel and oil rig automation systems and testing in real time operations, Experience in maintenance, service, and Commissioning of Dynamic Positioning (DP), vessel management systems and Propulsion Systems. Vessel control and Power management Automation Systems for pipe lying, Oil rigs, FPSO, oceanographic research, drilling and offshore support vessels. Got trained on safety courses like marine system safety, advance industrial safety program, OSHA in HV equipments, Environmental health and safety program conducted by GE.
• Trouble shoot, Installation, setup and maintenance of HW&SW of DCS, HMI and SCADA system and End-user system testing, training and documentation. Functional knowledge of real-time data historian, trends and alarm & events. Integration of control hardware with the system software application and System level activities of backup - restore, deletion etc. Exposure in concepts of Asset maintenance, work-order generation and maintenance scheduling.
• Technical support given to Service and commissioning team for Power Management, Vessel Control System (VCS) and Dynamic Positioning (DP), Hardware in-Loop testing (HIL), tuning gains, configuration, Integration and testing. Engineering documents preparations like FDS, PTS, ISD, FMEA, CAT and FAT procedure, sea trials. Preparation of technical proposal/estimation, Work package creation, Budget management, resource planning, allocation for Control and automation department and Practice to follow Management principles.
• Preparation of Functional Design Specifications, Engineering, Design, Application development, Software modification & Testing (Simplex to Duplex Upgrade). Actively involved and supervised all steel work, paneling, cabling as per GE interconnection diagrams, Marine controllers, sensors, PME’s installation, system upgrade, testing, sea trials, CAT, Tech discussion and vessel/system handover.
Worked as an Assistant Engineer and experienced in electrical drives, transformers, motors and Generator lab maintenance, testing and conducted annual shutdown, involved in troubleshooting and report preparation.
