ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES AS PROJECT ENGINEER with ENAR Petrotech
•Handling client work order inquires in terms of scope of work understanding & technical proposal preparation
•Attending scope clarification meetings along with relevant engineering discipline involvement
•Involvement in Project conceptualization, technical resource management, project planning/scheduling and identification of project deliverables and critical activities of project
•Internal coordination with discipline engineering for technical deliverables identification and man-hour estimation
•Preparation of engineering proposals & CTRs (Cost-Time-Resources) based on SoW identification, discipline engineering deliverables, man-hour & cost estimates and project schedule & organogram
•Communication & coordination with client counterpart for day to day technical and administrative matters
•Preparation of project progress reports, execution plans, resource management plan
•Arranging meetings for resolving & concluding the technical & project management issues
•Project man-hour & cost tracking and monthly invoice approvals
•Participation in project technical review such as design & risk (HAZOP) reviews
•Ensuring the right compilation of proposals, reports, documents, drawings, work packages etc.
•Liaison with vendor to ensure the availability of vendor information to engineering team
•Involving in preparation of Technical Queries (TQs) and Technical Bid Evaluations (TBEs) for Vendors Equipment
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES AS PIPING ENGINEER with ENAR Petrotech
•Involvement in developing Plot plan, equipment layout and Piping general arrangement drawings
•Layout Designing, conceptual planning and developing piping system, detailed design and engineering
•Coordinating with other functional Engineering division such as mechanical, civil, electrical, Instrumentation etc. for successful completion of project
•Field visit for data collection for project related activities
•Preparing the piping specification and other piping / mechanical related specification
•Responsible for final checking and releasing engineering drawings equipment drawings, piping Isometrics, Piping General arrangement, Layouts etc. for construction
•Preparation of specifications, datasheets, MTOs/BOQs
•Performing Stress analysis for stress critical lines by using CAESAR-II software
•Carrying out the technical bid evaluation for pipes, fittings, valves and specialty items and preparing the technical queries for vendor confirmation
•Managing the piping designers for engineering activities for meeting the project target dates
•Attending the construction queries and field constraint in engineering
•Estimation of man-hour on the basis of similar project works and expert judgment
•Review of vendor drawings & documents, checking piping layouts and inter discipline drawings / documents
•Hands on knowledge of piping, flow lines, pressure vessels, pumps, compressor, steel structure
•Visual Inspection and technical evaluation of new incoming inventory of pipes, tubes, fittings, sheets etc. as per ANSI/API/ASTM standards
•Field inspection of refinery equipment such as distillation columns, furnaces, piping, heat exchangers, tanks during shutdown and turnaround
•Preparation of shutdown reports based on equipment condition
•Stage inspection during fabrication of heat exchanger tube bundle from marking till final fit up
•Inspection of repair/replacement works performed by the contractor on refinery equipment and giving strong follow up to the contractor to perform jobs as per recommended procedure
