Worked as a business analyst to understand, document and perform gap analysis on the several different
incentive schemes prevalent within the International and Offshore Wealth Management division. I was then asked to recommend, agree and propose an implementation plan for a standardised scheme in line with business strategy and ongoing regulatory constraints.

• Project Manager - UK Wide Rollout of a vendor Financial Planning Tool - The UK Wealth division at Lloyds wanted to perform an RFP (Request for Proposal) for a third party vendor system that met their sales, risk, business management as well as operational needs. The system selected would then need to be
customised and implemented for use by all their wealth and relationship managers across the UK. I was responsible for running this project.

Responsibilities included:

• Understanding the business requirements for building the Prime Brokerage (PB) platform from scratch. Have
worked on building systems within the Trade Booking, Operations, Settlements, Client Reporting and Corporate Actions space.
• Working closely with Sales, Middle Office, Product Control, Client Service s and T echnology in delivering projects from initiation till deployment as several of these span different operations groups, trading desks across Equities.
• Working closely with the COO for Equities and Prime in helping out w ith the PMO function (budgeting, project governance, business continuity planning, etc)
• Working with 3rd party vendors like Sophis, Linedata, Bloomberg etc as well as Fund Admins like Tradar,
GlobeOp etc in defining interfaces with Nomura PB systems.


Below is a brief about some of the projects I worked on during my time at Nomura Prime.

• BA - Client origination and onboarding solutions.
Lead BA for building an in -house MIS system for Sales and Onboarding. The system not only houses and mines client prospe ct data for better management reporting but also facilitates automated account creation, interfaces with Legal, Compliance systems to provide a Workflow Management System f or the Client
Onboarding team.

• BA - Real Time Trade Settlement Web Portal
Was tasked with building the client facing portal for displaying trade settlement information to clients coming in via SWIFT or file delivery. This system not only allowed client and internal users to manage trades but also provided real time settlement updates to clients. This build was a differentiating factor for Nomura PB in targeting clients who wanted this service and shifted chunks of their Prime business over to Nomura from other PBs simply because they couldn't get real time updates elsewhere. Revenue gener ated in year 1 from such clients was approx. $1 .5mn across Prime and Equity Execution desks.

• BA/Project Manager - Cross Product Projects (Multi Asset Reporting)
Delivered the Multi-Asset Class Reporting project which provided Prime clients with a complete view of their positions with Nomura across all asset classes. This greatly enhanced the way we did reporting for client s who would give us Cash, Swap and Futures business.

• BA - Portfolio Swaps - Cash flow Management Module
Part of the BA te am that helped re-develop the cash flow mgmt. module in the Swaps Contract Management system. Was responsible for the trade enrichment and dividend processing modules

• BA/Project Manager - Asset Servicing Book of Work
Responsible for aggressively d riving forward the Asset Servicing book of work with relation to the Prime Synthetics (Swaps) business. This is more of a Change Management role where I regularly gather requirements, chair Global Prioritization calls and schedule work with the development team to continuously
deliver and better the product offering.
