Ras Al-khair Industrial City (RIC) Environmental Monitoring
• Complete analysis of all samples (industrial wastewater, cooling water discharge, coastal seawater, groundwater, potable water, and soil) in Ras Al-khair Industrial City.
• Monitoring compliance with Royal Commission Environmental Regulation (RCER) for Maaden Aluminum Company, Maaden Phosphate Company, Sea Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC), and all other facilities.
• Supervise all laboratory issues such as following up all instruments status, inventory status of laboratory consumables, scheduling all samples, preparing standard operating procedures (SOP), arrange all facility IDs and permits required for sampling, sample labeling, and samples chain of custody reports.
• Prepare, review, and submit weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually quality reports for Ras Al-khair Industrial facilities to the Royal Commission.
• Chemical inorganic testing of a wide range of cations using ICP and anions using IC and various spectroscopic methods.
• Chemical organic testing includes a complex of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC), Complex of Haloalkanes, complex of Hydrocarbons, oil & grease, and Total Organic Carbons (TOC).
• Startup water quality lab which includes start running, calibration, and troubleshooting of all laboratory instruments.
• Follow up the chemical preparation and standardization for lab usage.
