Responsible for timely execution of IT network infrastructure & ELV projects/programs.
Leading
1. Own and be responsible for the project/program. Act as single point of contact for customer and internal management team for the project/program assigned.
2. Keep full control over the project/program; manage micro level day to day activities of the project/program and macro level milestones, budget, expenses and deliverables.
3. Initiate kickoff meeting and bring the stakeholders together for better understanding and smooth execution of the project/program.
Planning
4. Review and understand project scope, deliverables, business and technical requirements using POs, contract, tender, & compliance statement.
5. Define activities, prepare work breakdown structure, & develop project schedule, risk management plan, communication management plan.
Communication management
6. Keep constant touch with customer through calls, meetings, and reports. Provide requirements and clear queries.
7. Constant update of project/program status to all those involved in the project/program including management, customer, consultant, project/program team and others as required.
Time management
8. Keeping track and ensuring on-time delivery of the material.
9. Make team aware of the deadlines and milestones, and motivate to achieve it.

People management

17. Keep track of the billing triggers, and ensure client signoffs at appropriate times for smooth a/c receivable.
Controlling
18. Identify project/program risks. Manage to avoid, mitigate, and transfer risks. Manage changes when required.
19. Ensure quality at all stages of work by raising inspections, audits. Highlight the importance of safety to team and ensure team and work are safety compliant.
PMO (Project Management Office)
20. Key member of company’s PMO team, developed charters, templates, methodologies, and charts.
21. Conducts regular review of PM tools, processes and practices to inculcate changes as needed
22. Keep PMs abreast of project management best practices
23. Plan trainings & seminars for PMO team. Suggest trainings as per career plan and needs of projects.

Key Projects/programs Executed:
• RasGas Headquarters IT Cabling program : IT cabling project/program (11500+ data points) with complete horizontal and vertical connectivity for 57 floors new headquarters of RasGas at West Bay, Doha

• Commercial Bank Qatar (CBQ) - Core Network & Cabling Infrastructure program for new data center
Implemented core network project/program at CBQ new data center as part of their expansion of datacenter capabilities. Project/program involved setting up a new network using cisco technology and included routing and switching, and security technologies. Implemented cabling infrastructure for CBQ new data center that involved full network connectivity inside the data center and data center offices using latest Cat7 technology.

• State Audit Bureau CCTV & Access Control Systems Project: Complete physical and perimeter security to the 24 floor building through CCTV, Gate barrier, ANPR, Key watcher, and access control solution

• Asian Cup Qatar 2011 IT Network program: Implemented IT network project/program to provide internet connectivity to organizing committee and media at the 5 stadium venues and media center.
