Union Cement Company is the largest, oldest cement company in United Arab Emirates, with three old IHI Japanese lines, (2X750 + 1X1500) tpd and fourth Chinese line with 10, 000 tpd cement production capacity.
Together with the above mentioned machinery, we have also 35 MW, 11KV, General Electric Gas Turbine, Fram 6 unit, For producing the required energy together with local generating station “FEWA” for feeding the plant.
Recently we add 15 MW Wast Heat Recovery Project to UCC plant.
Job Duties : As an Electrical engineer (Acting as Deputy Chief), Doing mostly same activities which had been executed in ASEC Co. & Tabuk Cement Co. as Responsible for supervising all electrical related issues including maintenance, troubleshooting and overhauling tasks in whole plant (Medium Voltage (6.6Kkv) Motors, Transformers, Switchgears Maintenance and Protection Relay Calibrations of Plant Substations.).
- In addition to those activities I’m also responsible for all electrical related issues regarding 35MW Gas Turbine power generating, desalination & reverse osmosis plants in company.
- Supervisory all installations, testing and commissioning jobs related to 15MW Waste Heat Recovery”WHR” Plant.
Najran Cement Company is one of Saudi Cement Companies Recently established in last 2007 in the Southern area of Saudi Arabia with a rate of production 16000 tons clinker per day.
Job Duties : As an electrical engineer responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting and overhauling for all electrical equipments of following sections: -
1 Cement Mills Section.
2 Packing Section.

Job Duties : As an Electrical Section Head, Responsible for supervising all electrical related issues in Quarry, Raw Material Transfer “RMT” and Raw Mills Area, of F.L.Smidth plant of two lines, 5.5 ton /day each.

Recently established in the last 10 years in the North West area of Saudi Arabia with a rate of production 4000 tons clinker per day.
Job Duties : As an electrical engineer responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting and overhauling for all electrical equipments of following sections: -
1 Cement Mills Section.
2 Packing Section.
3 Oil tank yard and cooling water-pumping station.
4 Electrical work shop & housing colony related jobs.
-Beside the a.m. responsibilities, I am also responsible for supervising most of upgrading projects in the plant like: -
1 2nd transportation line for the clinker grinding system.
2 4th cement storage silo.
3 New bulk loader in packing plant section.
4 New roller press in cement mill section.
5 Feeding section’s upgrading project through it we achieved increasing the line capacity up to 4000 tons per day.
- Mean while I'm also sharing in the following activities: -
1 Preparing the spare part lists.
2 Preparing the shutdown (overhauling) programs of the production line “raw mills, kiln, cooler and cement mills”.
3 Make study for all the offers concerning all spare parts.
- Also I had design and implement so many modifications through it we got improved the performance of plant equipments running conditions and rates of production.

- As a member of Electrical assistance team responsible for Maintenance, troubleshooting and overhauling of Egyptian Railway Systems including the following Duties:-
1- Testing of all the incoming / outgoing train units from / to railway lines.
2- Investigating of all the defected incoming train units from railway lines.
3- Beside executing any modifications needed to overcome all the problems related to the control circuits of train units.

Maintenance, troubleshooting and overhauling of all electrical
Equipment in the lifting stations and treatment plant in the
South sector in Egypt.

Million tons a year\} including the following items:-
1 - D.C. Motors up to 840 KW.
2 - A.C. Motors up to 4400 KW.
3 - Liquid starters up to 4400 KW Rating.
4 - M.V.D. Panels Including Both Min.Oil And SF6 C.B.S
5 - L.V.D Panels and Motor Control Centers”MCC”.
6 - Beside some different package systems in the site \{Pyroclon, Main Burner, E.S.P. Filters … etc\}; which are with the other equipments controlled through P.L.C.
7 - Also the dealing with the protection and monitoring loops \{temp, pressure and vibration\}.
8 - Training the client technicians on the maintenance programs for all the above items.
