Union Cement Company is the largest, oldest cement company in United Arab Emirates, with three old IHI Japanese lines, (2X750 + 1X1500) tpd and fourth Chinese line with 10, 000 tpd cement production capacity.
Together with the above mentioned machinery, we have also 35 MW, 11KV, General Electric Gas Turbine, Fram 6 unit, For producing the required energy together with local generating station “FEWA” for feeding the plant.
Recently we add 15 MW Wast Heat Recovery Project to UCC plant.
Job Duties : As an Electrical engineer (Acting as Deputy Chief), Doing mostly same activities which had been executed in ASEC Co. & Tabuk Cement Co. as Responsible for supervising all electrical related issues including maintenance, troubleshooting and overhauling tasks in whole plant (Medium Voltage (6.6Kkv) Motors, Transformers, Switchgears Maintenance and Protection Relay Calibrations of Plant Substations.).
- In addition to those activities I’m also responsible for all electrical related issues regarding 35MW Gas Turbine power generating, desalination & reverse osmosis plants in company.
- Supervisory all installations, testing and commissioning jobs related to 15MW Waste Heat Recovery”WHR” Plant.
