Design, review and implement Al Foah Company HSE management system as per OHSAS 18001 & ISO 14001. Provide professional support and advice on all aspects of planning, development, management and administration of Al Foah Company HSE management system including Factories, Al Foah Organic farm showrooms and dates receiving centres.
Prepare and perform Internal Audits to ensure compliance with the HSE management system requirements, Develop and monitor the HSE management system Key Performance Indicators.

Provide professional support and advice on all aspects of planning, development, management and administration of the Rail Agency' QHSE and general welfare matters in relation to operations and construction activities, testing and commissioning of Rail Agency projects.

Plan, observe, and evaluate operation and construction activities and contractor performance in the related areas and to ensure the adequacy and effectiveness of contractors programs.

Responsible for identifying new safety system for Emirates Flight Catering as per OHSAS 18001 & ISO 14001 and designing feasibility, budget and implementation plan for achieving best international standards in safety management.

Responsible for working with VP - HR in driving change in attitude and behaviour of employees towards safety so as to partner with line managers in minimizing occurrence of unsafe acts or risk taking behaviours especially reducing substantially loss time injury.

Lead management and improvement of operational safety standards to minimize accidents and incidents involving company personnel, equipment and property.

Guide the Safety team in conducting comprehensive inspections of all their facilities and operations to ensure compliance with required safety Standards.

Liaise with external bodies including the local enforcement authority, airport authorities, safety auditors, insurance auditors, airline officials

Strategic planning, development, monitoring and management of department activities and overseeing the implementation of necessary programs, procedures and processes at Agency level including but not limited to the following:
Agency Health, Safety and Environment Manual and Contractors Site Safety Plans.
Contractor's safety performance review and scoring and Rail Agency tender evaluation procedure and criteria on HSE issues/areas.
Emergency & Crises Management Procedures for Rail Agency and its work sites.
Rail Agency internal accident reporting procedures and protocol.
Projects accident reporting & Investigation procedures and protocols.
Award and incentive scheme for contractor performance (Safety Promotion Scheme).

Implementation of Company HSE Policy, and Develop HSE Manuals and represent company on projects HSE matters

Advise HSE objectives across project(s) and implement programmes for same

Liaise with principal subcontractors to establish common objectives and assist in the establishment of programmes for same

Establish means and programmes to inspect, monitor, audit and review HSE performance across project(s) to insure that there is a proper implementation of the Company safety management system.

Promulgate best practice knowledge to all involved on project(s)

Report to management on HSE performance and engender continual improvement in same and assign duties to subordinates, mentor and monitor ongoing performance

Ensure comprehensive reporting, analysis and determination of root causes of accidents and incidents arising and timely close-out of remedial actions required

Ensure timely auditing of Company and subcontractors' procedures, practices and implementation of remedial measures, as appropriate

Maintain the safety Program on a current basis as its installed in the various departments as out lined in the procedure of the HSE manual.
Upgrade the safety program by implementing new industry programs and management ideas. Incorporate the necessary changes into all of the safety programs

Coordinate Dubai municipality and other Local Authorities Audits, Make certain of employee representation during the walk- around inspection handle the various posting requirements and personally handle all of the violations, penalties etc.

Formulate, administer and make necessary changes in the loss prevention program
Submit safety inspection and incident reports to General Manager, and department heads.

Act in advisory capacity on all matters pertaining to safety for all departments
Maintain the incident record keeping system and personally investigate accidents in the various departments. monitor the corrective action taken by supervisors and others to eliminate accident causes

Cooperate with HR Department and Training Department in the Safety Training of and new existing employees

Supervise inspections by company safety Committee and make certain that Federal and Local orders and regulations related to safety are complied with

Coordinate fire prevention and emergency response activates and set standards for Safety Equipment's to be used on sites

Continually check to see that planned safety programs is followed and that unsafe practices and conditions are corrected

Prepare and review all incident reports to determine that the information is correct, the causes of accident are identified and resolved

Assure that general safety meetings and regular toolbox trainings are held and documented

Ensure that proper first Aid supplies are available
Ensure that all tools and equipment's are properly maintained

Issue safety instructions when work assignments are made

Insure that labours uses personal protective equipment's and has been trained in its uses

Constantly Check for unsafe practices and conditions and conduct toolbox safety meetings
