Let me start by introducing myself, my name is Michael William. I am currently employed at NauTix Ltd. as head Sales Manager. I have been working in this company with great enthusiasm and dedication for more than 10 years. Next to the common manager sales activities and enlarging our customers’ base. I have taken other tasks upon myself; quality management, processes management, the implementation of various computer systems and other projects.
I have had a manager position for 7 years and found out by practice that I have natural way of motivating teams and individuals, implementing structure and enabling teamwork to maximize. I am creative and progressive in everything I do. I am direct, correct and respectful and giving and receiving feedback is a natural aspect of my personality. I possess a great drive to exceed expectations for, as well, internal and external costumers.
A view of the responsibilities and tasks I have been preforming these past years as the Sales Manager are:
- Responsible for different branches, in leading & managing the teams on the different locations and different fields, training the teams, arranging vacations, leave and sick days for the team members.
- In charge of the branches inventory, items movements and purchasing orders. Contacting and managing the relationships and dealing with the suppliers, checking the cost of the items, also comparing the retail prices with the competitors, and implementing sales strategies accordingly.
- Forecasting, business development, prospecting customers, analyzing sales, and closing the deals.
- Implementation several projects, one of which, the implementation of new software (Microsoft Retail Management System), process management and training the team to use the software.
- Responsible for branch sales and supervisors. Reporting to higher level management and attending management meetings. Working with different computer systems like, Microsoft Dynamics Retail Management system, Footsteps (web based CRM), Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook.
- Implementing and managing social media for the company: Facebook, Linkedin, Instagram.
I am a person who does not sit still and I have educated myself in more than one field, did several self-development courses. Also, business courses to exceed in practical skills for my position like for example business communication and psychology of selling.
Managing the sales of the company as well as the sales team. I train and motivate the employees. Making sales reports, quotes and reporting the sales broadcasts and the needs of the showrooms as well as ordering the required purchases.
Supervising the showrooms of the company, training the new people in the company, generating new leads and prospects. Analyzing and reporting to management team.
Managing one of the company’s showrooms which sells boats as well as water sports and boat accessories. Marine business and neighboring fields. Responsible for a branch sales and supervising.
As A sales Representative. I was helping the customers to find the right product for their boats and their water-sports activities. Also I was making prospects to be my future customers to sell them boats, as the company has boats dealership. I was selling Marine spare parts and water-sports to customers through Microsoft Dynamics Retail management system software.
More than ever, businesses need to be able to foresee and understand key trends that will shape the future of technology, customer behavior, society and the marketplace, and connect these trends to their own product and position.
I studied the literature of Britain, in addition to the history of Europe and the United states.
