 As Business Development Manager I am responsible for improving the organization’s market position in Tile sales industry. I develop and implement effective business strategies to achieve higher profitability and maintain continues growth of company’s business in Tiles.

 With the set organizational strategic goals in Tiles business, I lead in building key customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, negotiation and closing of business deals. I conduct activities to find potential new customers, give product presentation to key people, designers and specifiers, accommodate their requests and ultimately convert them into business partners working on their clients, often being required to make presentations on solutions and services to predict their clients’ needs and continue to grow business with them in the future.
 I personally handle the TILE STUDIO in Bagnodesign Flagship showroom, ensuring the display and set up of sample materials are effective and easy to use to accommodate all types of users be it end user clients, contractors, designers or consultants and even colleagues and other sales team members. Set up and maintenance of Tile Studios in other branches in UAE and Qatar are also inspected and organized by myself alongside the Merchandising team.
 I communicate directly with Tile suppliers, maintain business relationship and ensure the company gets the maximum business benefit, pricing negotiation, product selections, delivery, marketing and merchandising support, turn-over bonuses etc. In return, maintain their satisfaction with the business they get from our company. I attend exhibitions, visit factories and get first hand updates from suppliers, then share to concerned department of the organization. Tile Brands we deal with are JOHNSON TILES, FAP, PANARIA, CERDISA, LEONARDO, DELCONCA, CERAMICA EURO, CERAMICA CAMPOGALIANO, VERDE199, FARO and other brands we deal with only on project basis.

Coordinate with suppliers from Europe regarding clients’ requirements. Perform other duties assigned to me like marketing jobs, product presentation, design consultation to clients, presenting 3d design using VISOFT design software. Fully responsible for the past Interiors and Buildex booth of Al Amana last May, 2007.

I was as on-top of all the matters concerning the new showroom construction last March 2008, from the design coordination with Villeroy & Boch, the contractor and suppliers of all brands from Europe, ordering of all items needed and supervision of the construction and came-out with the best Villeroy & Boch showroom in the Middle East from 2008 to 2009 and best Lifestyle showroom in the Sultanate of Oman.

As the Showroom Manager, I handled seven ( 7) sales and support staffs, monitoring sales and activities, maintaining the showroom, reporting sales status and achievements to the management. Draft sales strategies to be presented to the management for approval and implementation. I was responsible for the whole team’s goal to achieve monthly target.

As Sales Manager for Project Division, I handled 5 staffs, who are all working on big projects such as Palaces, Townships, Hotels, Resorts, Airports, and other commercial/ residential developments and make sure our products will be supplied in the project, working from the design and specification stage with consultants, tendering stage with the contractor, presenting to the clients, up to closing the deals. I am responsible in developing sales strategies and marketing programs benefiting both Project and Retail division and ensuring sales target every month is met by each team member including my own individual monthly target.
