TAKREER Carbon Black and Delayed Cocker(CBDC) Project.
Work as Sr. Instrument & Control Sr.
Attend the RFI, RFC, and RFSU with the client.
* Inspection and verification of the field Instruments as per PID and hook up drawings
during RFC.
* Preparing pre-commissioning and commissioning documents.
* Check the calibration & Ranges as per the data sheet of the field Instruments.
* Checked the partial stroke of Emergency Shut Down Valves (ESDV),
* Check the stroke of Shut down Valves (SDV), Blow down Valves (BDV), & Anti Surge
Valves (ASV) as per data sheet.
* Loop Test, Functional Test, and start up activities area includes, End Flash Gas
compressor (Package Siemens), Gas Steam Boiler (Package Siemens).
* Loop Test, & Functional Test of FGS, PSS and SSS which are connected to the Triconex
system.
* Test the loops of vibration by Simulation parameters like accelerometer and proximate
base radial and axial probes in Bentley Nevada 3500 for different packages.
* Worked at different vendor packages with vendor & independent Packages Including
(Gas Compressors, Fire Water Diesel Pumps, Waste Incinerator, and Sanitary Water
Treatment Plant (STP).
* Arrange the requirements to clear the punch point that raised during the loop test &
RFSU.
* Confirmation availability of inputs alarms & switches on DCS coming from field against
Alarm & Trip Set-point List and P&ID).
Shut Down Responsibilities:-
* Train 1 MR & PR Turbine &Train 2 MR Turbine
10. Bulleh Shah Paper Mills PROJECT (PACKAGES LTD LAHORE).
Packages Limited is the second Largest Paper Industry of the Pakistan.
* Done Erection & Commissioning of PM7 (Paper Machine), & DIP (De-Inking Plant
Responsibilities:-
My involvements are in the following activities with respect to time:-
* Supervision to my team in all activities of erection, commissioning and commissioning
punch points (e.g. Cable laying, Instruments & JBs installation, Tray Installation, Glanding
&Termination, pre-com, commissioning etc.) for quality & for achieving the target of
completion in time.
* Inspection and verification of the field Instruments as per PID and hook up drawings.
* High lighting the errors of the drawings for as-built.
* Attending the RFI inspections with QC and client.
* Preparing the Punch-List during the walk down with client.
* Follow up the Punch-Lists to fix it as per specification/standard requiring the client.
* Loop checking, Pre-commissioning activities of plant. Lead the technician during loop
checking and function test activities as per loop folder and cause & Effect detail drawings
for process instrument and Fire and Gas instruments.
* Performed corrective, predictive and break down maintenance work during loop
checking, function test, commissioning and warranty period.
* Worked on different instruments during Pre-Commissioning of plant Such as PT, LT, FT,
TT, Toxic Gas, Flammable Gas Detectors, UVIR, Control Valves, MOV, Shutdown
Valves, SSSV, SSV, WV, analyzer’s e.tc.
* Lead the maintenance activities and configure the field instruments before plant
Commissioning and after startup of Plant.
* Coordinate with vendor’s to done commissioning activity and closing vendor issues.
3.Total Abu AL Bukhoosh (TABK) Offshor platform
Maintenance of field instruments. Calibration, troubleshooting of instruments. Corrective
maintenance, preventive maintenance, planed jobs, shout dawn jobs,
* Execution of the predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance activities of
instrumentation and controls of the plant.
* Inform Instrument Sr. team Leader / Maintenance coordinator of regarding any
requirement of work orders, purchase orders and services referred to the area.
* To interact with operation team to improve operation maintenance requirements to
maintain or improve operation parameters of the plant during regular operations, startups
and shut downs.
* Adherence of Plant management in instrumentation discipline and daily check list and
daily follow up with concern.
* Support the operations in the troubleshooting of the special equipment of this section,
such as DCS, PLC, transmitters, analyzers and control valves etc. when required by
INSTRUMENT team leader.
* Support the instrument team leader for finding the root cause of instrument break down.
* Registration of all the activities of the day in log book on daily basis and work order.
* Before starting maintenance work, verify that operations have adequately conditioned the
systems to prevent any accidents or spills. After the work, assure the safety and cleaning
conditions of the area are acceptable to deliver the equipment to operations to restart
normal operations.
4.ADCO ASAB FFD(FULL FIELD DEVOLOPMENT
RDS-6(Remote Degassing Station)
Responsibilities: -
My involvements are in the following activities with respect to time:-

* Supervision to my team in all activities of erection (Cable laying, DCS, PLC, Flow
computer, Power Distribution Panel Installation Instruments & JBs installation, Tray
Installation, Glanding & Termination, Earthing, Console Installation etc.) for quality & for
achieving the target of completion in time.
* Inspection and verification of Erection activities as per location lay out.
* Inspection and verification of the field Instruments as per PID and hook up drawings.
* High lighting the errors of the drawings for as-built.
* Attending the RFI inspections with QC and client.
* Preparing the Punch-List during the walk down with client.
* Follow up the Punch-Lists to fix it as per specification/standard requiring the client.
Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning Responsibilities: -
* Supervision to my team in all activities of Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning in
RDS-6 Pre-Shut Down & during Shut Down.
* Loop testing from Field side to CR & also Function Test of all process Instrument like (Pressure,
Level, Flow, Temperature, Control valve and Shutdown) and Fir & Gas Instrument like (Combustion
Gas, H2S Gas, Flam, Smoke, Heat and UV Detector’s).
* Transmitters Configuration & Calibration from field and upload data towards DCS, also from
operating console and down load towards transmitters with our Yokogawa Engineers.
* Confirmation availability of inputs alarms & switches on DCS coming from field against
Alarm & Trip Set-point List and P&ID).
* SAT done with Vendor and clients
* Support work with client during Shutdown and Startup of GIPP Compress
4. GASCO NGL 4 PROJECT RUWAIS
Work as Instrument & Control Supervisor in DOMEDZ under JV(Joint Venture) of Petrofac &
Friction action & Refrigeration Unit.
Responsibilities: -
My involvements are in the following activities with respect to time:-
* Supervision to my team in all activities of erection (e.g. Cable laying, Instruments & JBs
installation, Tray Installation, Glanding & Termination, Impulse Tubing and Air Distribution
with Airline etc.) for quality & for achieving the target of completion in time.
* Inspection and verification of the field Instruments as per PID and hook up drawings.
* High lighting the errors of the drawings for as-built.
* Attending the RFI inspections with QC and client.
* Preparing the Punch-List during the walk down with client.
