The purpose of my role is to facilitate the work of the Protection Cluster through the provision

relevant international and regional instruments; in cooperation with the
Humanitarian Country Team support local interventions when violations of
international protection standards and principles occur.

displacement and durable solutions.
• Chair weekly meetings, draft minutes, and follow-up with different actors to
address the action points of the meetings.
• Co-chairing MHPSS meetings, supporting strategic planning, facilitating
collaboration, and ensuring technical quality and adherence to standards.
• Involve stakeholder engagement, knowledge sharing, and supporting MHPSS
activities in line with international guidelines.

The purpose of Protection Assistant is to supports the application of community-based
protection standards, operational procedures and practices in community-based

to GBV.
• Assist in the analysis that identifies the capacities of communities of concern and

• Support participatory assessments by multifunctional teams and ongoing
consultation with PoC.
• Support efforts to build the office capacity for community-based protection.
Support communities in establishing representation and coordination structures.
• Ensure community understanding of UNHCR's commitment to deliver on
