Leading the development of the company Health and Safety program with in the region and prepare report to Head of HSE. Supervising the HSE team with in the region Fujairah and provide necessary guidance for the team and monitor all the projects HSE Performance with in the region. Assists the Commercial, Engineering and Operations Department in their dealings with Clients in all issues concerned with Health and Safety at work. Prepare and monitor Training requirements.
Leading the HSE Department for both MARASI and SUNSHINE and supports the Top Management in the HSE Management System standard issue. Develop and Revise the processes and SOPs based on HSE related international standards OHSAS 18001:2007 and ISO 14001:2015, local statutory health and safety requirements and industry best practice.
Implement the HSE Management system, policies and interpret the technical specifications into HSE Plan and advise on HSE requirements and preparing relevant documentation for projects including an HSE Plan, Risk Assessments, Environmental Management Plan
Lead, Develop and Implement training programs related to HSE Procedures and Standards.
Lead, Develop and Communicate safety standards for all operations and projects.
Develop and Revise environmental safety standards, requirements and reporting mechanism for company and projects.
Develop and Monitor employee health surveillance plans and procedures.
Develop and maintain risk assessment procedures for identification of risks and hazards related to HSE for new businesses and strategic model.
Lead accident investigation team to reach correct root cause.
Plan and supervise internal and external Health and Safety audits and inspections, Risk Assessments in line with international auditing standards such as OHSAS 18001:2007 and ISO 14001:2015.
Interpret the international auditing standards such as OHSAS 18001:2007 and ISO 14001:2015 and results of audits and inspections. Produce clear and concise reports on the actions required to minimize the effects of the conditions detected. Plan and implement procedures dealing with non-conformity and advise on corrective action
Implement HSESMS by providing effective information, advice and guidance to others about HSE through induction, awareness training, supporting JSA briefings, conducting safety walks, supporting tool box talks etc

Lead the development of the company Health and Safety program with in the Project and report to the HSE Manager and Project Manager. To create and implement an effective Safe System of Work by following the company’s and client’s HSE manual and To provide support and guidance, as required, to line management, in regards to best practice so that HSE is incorporated in day to day operations of the business unit
• Monitor compliance to the company HSE Management System by conducting regular inspections and internal auditing of site activities.
• Deliver training on health and safety topics to the site teams
• Draft Project HSE documentation for review and approval by management, including HSE Plans, Risk Assessment, Project specific Emergency Response Plans, Waste Management Procedure etc

3. Gulf Petrochem Construction of Oil Storage Tanks and Tank Foundations: (November 2011 - April 2012)
Client: Gulf Petrochem Terminal, Fujairah
Scope of work: Engineering, Procurement, Installation & Commissioning of 18 set Tanks (17 Product Tanks + 1 Fire Water Tank) in Gulf Petrochem Terminal Phase-I at Fujairah.
4. VTTI - Airline for Phase 1a and Terminal 1 Project: (April 2012 - July 2012)

Scope of work: Fabrication of 3" and 2” Pipelines at fabrication yard. Installation and fit up of Airline as per lay out and Isometric drawings. Surface Preparation and painting. NDT and Pneumatic test for new pipelines.

DESIGNATION: HSE COORDINATOR
JOB PURPOSE: Assist HSE Advisor in the development of the company Safety program within the Project and to Create and implement an effective HSE Management System and procedures.
PROJECTS HANDLED:
1. Topaz Marine - Ship Building Yard: (February 2009 to April 2009)
Topaz Marine - Ship Building in Fujairah is located inside the seaport of Fujairah. The Facility is equipped with two large 120m fabrication sheds and a large outdoor fabrication area. The site is ideal for the construction of classed vessels up to 50m in length in steel, steel or aluminum hull and aluminum superstructure. Also based at the facility is a Marine Travelift capable of lifting boats up to 40m long with a beam of up 10.2m at a weight of up to 200 tones.
2. VOPAK Phase -V Expansion Project: (April 2009 - January 2010)
Client: Vopak Horizon Fujairah Ltd.
Scope of work: EPC to construct new two numbers offshore berth with offshore structure up to 2 km inside sea from shore and connect white oil and black oil pipelines and utility lines from tank farm to offshore loading arms and commissioning.
Achievement: 0.44 Million safe man-hours without any Lost Time Incidents.
