Axon is a Spanish International consulting firm specialized in the TMT sector. I joined Axon at their Istanbul office, but I worked in Riyadh for almost the whole year.
• I worked on two main projects, which were developing a list of strategic indicators for a Saudi Ministry (MCIT), and a communications assessment study for a Telecom company.
• I was assigned as the main consultant at the Ministry in Riyadh to represent Axon and to build a closer relationship with the client.
• I supported the deliverables of the current situation assessments, benchmark studies, building an excel database & creating surveys.
• I was involved in tasks related to research, analyses (i.e. forecasting), reports writing, preparing decks, Excel documents, and even generated deliverables that were needed in Arabic.
Enera is a management consultancy specialized in the field of healthcare. ENERA exclusively works mainly on international projects mainly in the MENA region.
Between April and September, I was assigned to one of ENERA's main international projects, which was conducting an investment climate/feasibility study for a reputed university hospital in Riyadh, KSA. Starting from October, i was assigned to the second project, which was strategy development for reforming the primary care in the Kingdom of Bahrain. In both projects, i was responsible mainly for the following:
- Represented Enera during the visits conducted overseas (5 weeks in Riyadh & 5 weeks in Bahrain).
- Conducted interviews with high-level and multi stakeholders from various fields.
- Co-Created questionnaires and semi-structured interviews for the projects required information.
- Conducted secondary research and content analysis of best practices.
- Co-generated the models required by clients (e.g. financial models, strategy models, etc.)
- Co-generated the content writing and finalizing reports.
- Supported the Data analyses such as regression, correlation, forecasting, etc.
Fortrade Ltd. is a British brokerage firm in the Forex Market. I was responsible for managing over 100 different accounts daily (from different nationalities and levels) and acted as a sales representative. This internship experience allowed me to develop communication, time management, and objection handling skills.
• The assignments varied from presentations and group works to writing articles and reports. All of which covered essential project management knowledge, such as risk, value, and lean management. • Dissertation: “Mobile Computing Technology (MCT) on Construction sites”
