• Search, identify and establish contact with new overseas suppliers of electormechanical
and industrial products upon management’s directions.
• Place Purchase Orders products from international markets and track their delivery
from source to destination.
• ensure all purchase orders are ready within a timely manner and without any delays or
issues.
• Coordinate with the logistics department to ensure that the orders are picked up,
transported using the method of choice (sea Freight, air freight or express service) and
delivered to the company’s warehouses.
• Follow up with the warehouses to ensure the goods are received accurately, and raise
claims to the suppliers in case of discrepancies or defects.
• Coordinate with the accounting and auditing departments to guarantee that all due
payments to suppliers are made on time.
• Prepare stock reports including “placed” and “on-route” orders and distribute to
management and sales team for their information and action.
• Prepare annual orders’ forecasts in coordination with the sales, warehouses and
accounting departments, and help in setting the foreign procurement department’s
yearly budget.
• Assist in the preparation of costing studies to management and accounting
departments.
• Other duties as assigned
